dude pryuen aren't u rich? anyway, chin up... theres always tomorrow and the day after that. Yao is just hitting his peak. If history tells us anything, Yao will come back from this injury stronger and better.

Just believe pryuen. The most supportive thing fans can do is believe.

Yes, the most important thing is to remember that our cyber-friendships and the fun we've had (for the most part, it's been more fun than pain) is what keeps all of us going. Sure, nothing beats winning a championship, as those of us who were around in 1994 and 1995 can attest to- but there's a lot worse that can happen than this. All of us will do what we've always done- go through the disbelief-depressed-angry-hopeful cycle and keep hanging on to the hopeful end, enjoy the Rockets finding ways to win without Yao (very tough task this time of year), maybe be shocked if we happen to make it past the 1st round, and realize that we're going to have Yao, Mac, Scola, Landry, Battier, McGrady, Alston, and the others for next year- plus we'll probably add on another key piece and be primed even more for the playoffs and the championship next year.

Keep the faith, brothers and sisters. Let's enjoy what is going to be a most interesting ride.

5 star thread, no doubt :) though sounds sad.

I think Yao's absence will be deeply affect on us in a long-term run. See what our small can do on the court!

We need Yao as much as we need a Champion.

As a Rockets fan, I'm very dissappointed too, to got a glimps of how high the Rockets can go with Yao and now all the sudden Yao is out.

I really appreciate your work for the Rockets' fans.

Best of luck on finding a better job soon.

Similar situation here dude. Bad day at the office yesterday, had to wake up early this morning (9am HKT, early enough for me!) to attend another meeting, and finally I got out at 10:30, couldn't wait to see how the game goes vs Wiz, open clutch bbs and I see the 'Yao is out for the season' thread.

    :(

This is a sad day for rox fans, and a bad day for the NBA. Still, am glad that they pulled it together and beat the heck out of the Wiz for Yao.

yao will be healthy again, soon! So you should stay well to see that!

As someone who has a lot to do with HK, I know HK people have some great spirit in them. I believe it's in you, too!

Man this is certaintly a bad day for Chinese fans all over the world. First they lose their most prominent Chinese sports figure; not only that, the finest inside source for Houston Rockets fans get denied a contract extension.
Man, I feel for ya, sad day for asians everywhere

It is very thoughtful of Tinman to do this thread.

Yes, Pryuen, it is a very, very sad day for Chinese fans and Rockets fans around the world. But we'll go thru this together and come back with Yao stronger next year. Best wishes to you.

And this season is not over! We should keep on fighting. Tmac, it is on you now to lead this team!
