Good looking out. This must be horrible for Rick as well. First year with the Rockets...and Yao goes down during a huge streak. Life's a bi*** Cod
He said it was disappointing. Came out of left field. blah blah. not much you can do about it. Have to do whats best in the long run. Guys have to play the game. Everyone has to step up. Feels bad for yao. Starting five: Deke will start. Need a few days to see whats best. Deke starts because they have a big 7 footer in the middle. Keep evaluating as we go. and it cuts off...
I'm feeling terrible just like every one else, but I've been trying to think rationally and positively for the first time in ages. If you group together contribution from Scola, Landry in terms of points, and Deke +Chuck in terms of rebounds, you can almost get part of what Yao brought every night. Of course, you miss his presence, but it's just a thought.
Amare, West, Boozer, Duncan, Gasol ... Scolar and Landry, densively cant keep up with them. It's over, as far as championship run. Less than that, I am not that interested, except for seeing young guys develop.
It's not over as far as a first round playoff upset is concerned. The chances look remote now but it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility. If that were to happen, the future would look extremely bright for this franchise once again.
