A boneheaded mistake. If this is the best they've got on him....the man's probably the cleanest polititian in Washington. Bring it.
Spoken like somebody who has never had to pay off a student loan. I paid off most of my loans early , but not entirely, then I conolidated at a low rate. I could pay off the balance of my student loans in a second. But I locked into an interest rate that is lower than the rate I get in my savings account. It would be essentially passing up free money to pay off my student loans now - I'm more than happy to wait fifteen years and make the additional points on the balance.
summary of issues against obama: color of his skin color of his father's skin color of his mother's skin color of his supporters' skin his religion his father's religion his supporters' religion his first, middle, and last name his love for his father the seller of his future house listing a certain amount and selling for the price that he offered because there are no other offers anything else I missed?
It's a very nice plot of land. Nice view, not too hard to maintain and right next door to the president of the United States of America
Obama supporters invested so much emotionally in him that they buy everything he says and brush off any negatives against him. The game gets easy from there. Kind similar to Bush supporters 4 years ago. They have opposite point of views. One group is cons and the other is libs. But essentially they are the same.
McCain apologized for a crazy supporter of his using the "Hussein" reference several times. Now that supporter has said "screw McCain". http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/2008/02/mccain_apologizes_for_radio_ho.html Good to see what McCain thinks of the T_J's and bigtexxx's of the world.
Not so fast Major McCain knew who Cunningham is/was and what he was going to say. IMO they put the guy out there to throw the mud and then McCain threw him under the bus to make it look like he's so above it all. "He's such an honorable guy" please
It stuff like this that makes me worry about Obama. There is a lot we don't know about Obama and while nothing has sunk him, and might not, a lot of stuff we are finding out about him points to sloppyness and poor judgement. I don't deny at all that Hillary Clinton or John McCain for that matter, have questionable things in their histories but their histories are fairly well known. As for this particular situation it doesn't seem like crisis but it does show very poor judgement as even Obama is admitting.
Not even close. It's actually the opposite. A bizarre coalition of jealous, individuals for some reason, a reason that I can't really fathom, feel threatened by Obama - so rather than listening to his message or his policies, recycle stock critiques and float absurd conspiracy theories that implicate their own mental stability...and make ominous predictions about what we don't know.
It's not a 'nothing'....but it's hardly been systematic, nor is it in the same league as what's out there on just about every other Beltway politician. Plus he's dealt with it properly. No denials, and acknowledgement of error. Next!
Does it not offer a window into his decision making process and ethical standards? I feel it sure does
