Since Yao is done for the season, I was thinking this is a real chance for Scola to show his overall game. Hopefully Adelman will give him more opportunities in the low post. He's aggressive with the ball, has shown some moves in the low block, and he can get to the line.

Just rest T-Mac if we are done for the season and see what others could do

im not worried at all that yao is out, because we have a great coach in Adelman who knows how to utilize players' strengths. the absence of yao makes it much easier to transition to his motion offense. also its great that bobby jackson is here to teach everyone. im not worried at all the way scola and landry are playing.

He definitely will. We don't have many options at C. Hopefully he will take advantage of this opportunity to develop to be a star-caliber player (like Manu). He and Landry are the Rockets' future.

Well lets hope that Scola can bring his MVP play from this summer to the game. We really need his scoring now. We need Landry to step it up too.

Just replaced Yao with him on my fantasy team.

If we make the playoffs either Scola or Landry will be ROY.

you seriously think a team that has won 12 games in a row is going to just tank because of a loss of yao ming? you're r****ded.

they're going to keep playing and doing some winning as well, just I don't think we're contenders anymore.

Without Manu and some others, he still got his team qualified for Olympics. Why couldn't he do it again?!

Yes he does, but moreso Landry. Landry plays strong and has the most room for improvement. With Scola, I believe we know what we will get from him in terms of how he plays. His stats will just go up. With Landry, I'm not quite sure how he will play without Yao. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they play though.

Scola will be huge. He has a chance for ROY now.

Scola is a proved true Champain and competitor and winner. His potential will be close to Manu's level. He will develop faster than everyone expects.

Now Rockets will show how good they really are. After MJ first retirement, Bulls took a 55 win season. Scola/Battier/Alston are all winners. They should survive and when Yao come back, they will develop to be a true contender.

Scola has no chance of ROY at this point. Too few games left. Even if he were to average 20 pts the rest of the way, he'd still end up w/ only 12 PPG.
