    Pretty interesting stats.

05-06 he plays 6 40+ minute games through 57 total games played.
07-08 he played 15 40+ minute games including a 50+ minute game through 55 games played.

    07-08 37mpg
    05-06 34mpg (highest of career)

Obviously Yao has foot troubles.(like all big men before him) When you get tired, your technique goes away.

Unless it is a playoff there is no reason he should play 40 minutes.

Big men are brittle, there's no if, ands, or buts about it.

Yes. From then on, Yao favored his ankle to wear his foot out. The bottom line is the ankle injury makes it worse.

He never gets to rest. I understand wanting to represent your country by playing for their team, but is it really worth it? Pick one...NBA or Chinese Basketball Team. If he keeps doing both every year, he is gonna be another Bill Walton

I blame coach A for this. Ever since the beginning of the season i couldn't figure out why he played yao so many minutes, or why deke so few minutes especially considering how well deke played for us last year.

Good point, I can't understand that one either, I know he has a role to mentor the younger guys but to not see any action to rest our franchise player is beyond me.
