When this guy doesn't have a headache he's giving the opposition headaches.

I've never heard of players missing games for migraines. Is this something new for Francis or has he just been toughing it out for years?

heres another player with the same problem.

Jason Williams, G MEM - Austell Skywalkers Updated 01/22/02
Williams missed Monday's game against Sacramento due to migraine headaches. He received medication, but the pain did not subside by gametime. He is listed as day to day.

These guys have to go to aspirin or advil for an endorsement.

It's got to be bad to not play.

It's got to be pretty rough for the rest of the team to not know whether their points are going to play or not.

Although, maybe Mooch is giving Franchise too many slurpees. Those brain freezes hurt.

I think Steve's in a lot of pain. Before the Rockets/Sixers game that he played in I saw him up close before the game and he looked horrible. Before the Rockets/Nets game that I went to, which he didn't play in, I also saw him up close and he looked even worse.

This is apparently the first time Francis has had migraine problems.

The difficulty is not just the pain, but also vertigo and other sorts of disorders relating to balance/dizziness.

Quitten used to (and probably still does) have problems related to migraine headaches. They can be killer when they come (often unexpectedly), but can be controled to some degree with medication.
