Still in 7th, but we're now tied with Utah who are in 4th place thanks to their division lead. And we've put some more distance between ourselves and Denver and Golden State while gaining ground on most of the teams we're chasing.
opportunities, opportunities, folks. yes the west is ridiculously and insanely tight, but at the meantime it presents an unprecedented opportunity as well. what was the last time you saw a 7th seed 3 games out from the top? the wild wild west is also wide open. it's time to seize this huge opportunity.
2 games behind the Spurs and 3 games behind the Hornets. who do you want to lose tonight? NOH or SAS?
Whoevers at the top is my philosophy. Because that's were want to be. After are win tomorrow we will be only 2 games back. By the way the Hornets were ready for us yesterday and we killed them. That loss was a let down for them and they showed it in the first half against the Spurs. Down by 17 in the second half they went on a 19-2 run. They almost pulled it off but came up a little short. The last time they played the spurs they blew them out by 24 points. I still think the Hornets are better then the spurs, at least in the regular season. I don't see NO dropinng out of the division hunt.
Spurs are back. The final top six seeds of Western conference will be no different from last year but in different orders. Rockets may still get the home court or home disadvantage.
Inches away from the #1 seed in the West If we haven't collapsed and lost to Philly and New Orleans last month, we would currently have a 38-18 record and would be the #2 seed in the West. If we keep playing solid and take care of our games against the top teams in the West.....#1 seed is a strong possibility.
Is this Tracy Mcgrady? I didn' know you were a cluthfanese Well, Tmac, if this is you, do you recall what happened the last time you guaranteed something?
I can't wait for the Dallas game. That's the game that will finally put us ahead of them. It's going to be another rough playoffs style slugout.
ok like every freakin' day the whole playoff spectrum changes. the only thing that is predictable is a 1 lakers vs 8 denver/gs we're matchup with the spurs now
wow... normally I don't play the coulda shoulda woulda game, but this is glaring back at us with home court advantage possibly on the line... it also serves as motivation, the Rockets can be and beat the best in the West
I don't know, we've shown how good we can play on the road so I'm not too concerned with HCA. HCA or not the West is so stacked you'll have to win on the road regardless.
Yeah, but have you looked at the Mavs and Jazz's home records? I'd rather have home court in a first round matchup with either team. And yes, I realize we lost Game 7 to Utah a year ago at home, but you'd always rather have that one in your own gym.
