Anyone notice after Rafer started well he started calling his own number just a few too many times, Adelman pulls him, puts in B-Jackson and the rockets were able to tread water long enough to pull ahead.
That was impressive, not what I expected at all. He looked very comfortable out there. The shots he will get here are like none he has ever seen. With doubles on TMac and Yao, you can get HORSE shots here. Any decent shooter should flourish in Houston. If we get Barry next week, we could have the tools to make a serious run.
That play where Jackson got the open layup off the feed from Carl Landry is pure Sacramento Adelman. Maybe he can help the other Rockets pick up some more elements of the motion offense.
The best part of this would be, we continue to win up to 21 straight and play agaist this red-hot Lakers and beat them by 20 points! Baby , that will be very very cool!
Imagine if we do get Brent Barry to add that 3 point arsenal to our team! this team would be INSANE dude!
7 players in double figures can't ask for more than that from a team. But we was poor from the FT line and great from 3 now ain't that someting. And its a great sign that Tracy got to the FT line 12 times that means he going to the basket more.
One more thing: the longer the streak goes the more teams are going to look to take it to the Rockets. Everyone wants to be the team to knock a team off its streak, especially for the Western powerhouses but even for the scrubs the Rockets will be facing coming up. The Bulls came in tonight motivated and hungry and they played hard. They were a much better team than their record tonight. The Rockets need to remember this game and realize that coming up they're probably going to see the best of whatever team they face. Good practice for the playoffs.
the Rockets are 21-4 in 2008 (12 game streak) the Jazz are 19-4 the Lakers are 19-6, 20-6 after tonight(it will be an 8 game streak) who's the hottest, you say?
The FT shooting was a miserable 54% and it may make a difference in a close game. Overall, I am quite happy with what we are doing right now
The real great thing about tonight’s win is we have 7 guys in double figures. What a balanced attack!!
Novak was off this game...so it might be a sign that Green will be the one who gets the nod next blow out. It's also worth mentioning that I think the refs blew today. We got some fouls that we aren't going to get nine times out of ten.
