Yes this team is more talented, and is playing in a much tougher conference. I think Adelman is doing a fine job, don't you? DD

They just set a team record winning streak of road games but it'll be interesting if their mental approach stays the same for those last games. They play 10 of their next 12 at home. Regardless of their road success thats a welcome sight. If the Rockets go like 9 - 3 that stretch they'll be looking good for the playoff push.
Over under how many we need to win for No. 1 seed. I say 21-6. That's fiften games over .500 which is what we are at now through 55. Keep in mind a lot of western teams play western teams to end.
Both phoenix games are winnables. They just don't scare me without Marion. Yao can handle Shaq quite easily now.
They still scare me. Stoudemire is no joke.....he will exploit other bigs now that shaq will play beside him
I'm worried more about the Lakers than I am with the Suns. Kobe and Pau should be a pretty difficult duo to overcome.
Agree Disagree, these games will be the only ones that Shaq will play like 120%, unless he's on the IL.
The Rudy T/Hakeem era featured teams that were notoriously hot to start the season... but cooled off in the second half. The Yao/JVG/T-mac/RA is starting to look like the exact opposite... plunder along the first couple months of the season, then catch fire against the lesser teams... which breeds confidence... and gets this team rolling against the good teams. What does this all mean? Rudy wasn't the best tactician, so perhaps teams started catching on to our gameplans more. Or maybe its simply the players... Hakeem would fatigue a little throughout the second half of the season, whereas T-mac and Yao both have picked up their games in the second half of the seasons they've made the playoffs thus far.
WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE PROFESSIONAL JINXERS. stop making threads about how long the win streak will be and 50 wins van gundy's said that with some lucky breaks Houston could have gone to the WCF or won it all last year. and despite the weaknesses the rockets had he is right. 2 defensive rebounds would have won the Utah series. Houston probably would have beaten GS. If Houston had somehow gotten to the NBA Finals they would have beaten Cleveland. contrary to public opinion van gundy was not fired for doing a bad job with the rockets. he was fired because les alexander wanted a different type of team with more run and gun and more offense. JVG did a fine job in houston, he just never got the breaks
i'm sorry to say that i think rox may lose the game with bulls, cause bulls just made a big trade and they won over nuggets by 14points right after the trade. we can't think bulls as the former one.the new bulls had a shocking fire now,and i am really worried about this...
that was without their new players, tonight all the new guys make their debut. They have ZERO post defensive pressure and now that they have all their new pieces they will be feeling it out for a couple games and we are so hot. I dont predict it will be easy but i think we have a 65% chance of keeping the streak alive.
I agree, Adelman has done a great job. I think it's important not to underestimate the ability of Adelman to motivate his players by giving them some responsibility/trust/freedom and not barking orders at them all the time. Last year, these guys played with no passion. Especially t-mac who was playing not to lose in round 1, which is not the attitude to succeed in the playoffs. This year, these guys are all fired up. The only person JVG didn't yell at was t-mac cuz he was afraid to bruise his fragile ego. JVG always said t-mac had great b-ball IQ, even though he'd basically run down the clock and hoist a contested 3-pointer all the time. At least t-mac is taking some responsibility for his own play now.
