Hornets are using Bonzi a lot more in the post. And, for the most part, he's not delivering.

Mike James' only 'decisions' possession after possession are to call his own number because nobody has a better chance for converting a play than Mike James. See, he has the utmost confidence in Mike James.

In any case, Scott is a dumbass who consistently insists on guarding players like Yao and Shaq one-on-one. So who cares wtf he thinks.

He may not be that far off. Bobby is not much of a PG. He can score though. I had season tix for the Hornets last year when they were in OKC and I can tell you from watching a lot of games, he's not much of a decision maker. Maybe getting back in Adelman's system will revive him, but I think at this point in his career he's better served playing off the ball.

After watching the Hornets tonight, I have to say that Mike James sucks in any uniform.

Bonzi went 1-7 tonight for the Hornets.

Excellent Bonzi, excellent. Continue being the trojan horse for us.

Albeit I only saw the second half, but I didn't think he looked that bad.

He couldn't move his feet at all on defense and got blown by numerous times. He did hit a three pointer, but that's not going to be the trend.

I don't think Bonzi will have any problems. I mean, all he has to do to get solid playing time (25+ minutes) is to beat out Morris Peterson and Ryan Bowen, both of which are pretty much garbage.

Yeah, I did notice Ginobili burned him a couple times coming off of screens. That's a pretty tough matchup though.

Watching this game and rewatching last night's game, NO's interior defense is very unimpressive. They don't make much of an effort to protect the paint like we do. When someone gets beat, their weakside help (Peja, D-West) just stands there and watches. I don't keep up with NOH, but it's a wonder how they got the record they have with that kind of D.

Bonzi's best defense is his offense. If Scott constantly post-up Bonzi, Bonzi will wear down the opponents' guards. So, the opponents' guards will become less effective in the 4th quarter.

If Scott just asks Bonzi to play defense, then Bonzi's best contributions are steals and rebounds. Bonzi is not laterally quick and he bites the pump fake too often.

I still can recall BJ with the Kings. BJ would shoot first, shoot second. Pass? What? Why BJ would pass when he had the ball and he thought he could score. :D

I was actually referring to Mike James there. Scott likes to run two ball handlers out there at the same time in crunch time.
