Green is like a shorter Swift.

However, we didnt give up anything much to get Green - whereas we invested quite heavily in Swift - so Im happy to take a chance.

We shouldnt be getting our hopes up though.

I agree about Green. I think teams who play the Rockets the next few years are gonna groan with this pocketful dynamite! FYI ... virus problems try this link.

As far as his contract goes, yes. Stro was more experienced and somewhat more skilled but his lazy attitude hurt us a lot. Let's hope that Green will try harder to improve.

Stro possessed no skills.. He was too lazy to pick up any skills.. that was the problem... He was just had raw athleticism..which is a talent.

Sure why not? GMs don't have any loyalties to former players. Weisbrod said it.

At least the Rockets did not spend 3 first round picks on him. I don't trust young players who make very little progress year by year. Work ethic is a huge factor.

Green is VERY raw. Has all the TOOLS but they cant be considered actual skills yet. This is like only his 5th year of organized basketball so there's a lot of nuances of the game he still needs to soak in. I read where he repeated 11th grade cuz of academic issues, so the comments about his low iq and difficulty grasping the game...

He's better served focusing on one defined role and a defined skill-set that goes along with that role. Instead of being a Tracy McGrady all around wonder and taking on too many things at once. He isnt a guy like a Lebron or Chris Paul you can just hand an offense to...

I'll know in a couple games as I haven't seen him play before. What I'm looking for is IQ and poise. Age 22-26 is all about growing mentally and emotionally, not physically. Green has a chance to learn from Shane Battier, Tracy McGrady...now that's an opportunity...it's all about the fundamentals...
