    Nah...

Shaq and Kobe worked cus Shaq was just so dominant... Yao is still not at that level yet.

Exactly, Yao is very stable, and a good rebounder now, he is the Rox spine now. The good news is Tmac let Rafer be the real PG now, at least in 3 Qtrs, haha. Wish someday Rafer also be the PG in 4th Qtrs, he has proved himslef. P&R between Yao and Rafer is fantastic.

Yao, Tmac, Scola ... are better than the King players in 2002 one by one. Very possible for Hou back the playoffs to contend the Western championship

Lame, they had more than just "simply" an off night. They couldn't stop YAO or TMAC.

Yes. He was brought in solely for that purpose. And if you saw the 4th quarter once Brooks was PG you can see why. He did play well, but you need the offense to be smoother than that once we are in the playoffs.

Scola is not better than Webber in 02, or even Miller who came off bench.

Rafer << Bibby. And do we have anyone who can shoot like Peja?

This was a statement game for the Rockets and our 2 superstars treated it like one. They played up to the competition and then some and brought the rest of thier teamates along for the ride. Yao has Chandler's #, and he proved it tonight, as he had his way with him tonight. Tmac is beginning to feel his game in this offense again and made some good passes as well.

I loved the fact that Tmac came out and attacked the rim from the start of the game. He played well early vs. Miami, but he just happened to be hitting his jumper, but tonight, he was taking it to the rack. He doesn't get the Kobe, Lebron, or D-Wade calls (which probably makes him not even want to try to drive), but he stuck with it, and got some calls later on, although there were many missed early on. I don't mind Tmac missing a drive to the basket, because that alone will cause teams to double him, and he can pick apart defenses when that happens.

Scola, Landry, and Alston played well also.

Overall great win, hope to continue the streak.

One more thing I noticed...David West is a little B***h. He cries about somebody elbowing him, and then gives Scola a cheap shot, then he thinks he's all big, by pushing Landry down. All Stars aren't supposed to whine about a physical play in basketball. Elbows happen to hit you, ESPECIALLY when you are a POWER forward, who might happen to be in the area of the basketball court called the paint.

No wonder he stays away from the paint and shoots 20 ft jumpers all day. He might be afraid of breaking a nail or something...take a lesson from Tyson Chandler and learn to take a beating like a man, like he did respectfully tonight by Yao.

He's nothing more than a Bryan Cook with the best current point guard in the NBA. Hope he never gets selected as an All Star again, especially as a POWER forward in the west with that kind of attitude...

I personally liked when Byron Scott threw in the white towel, Ryan "The Last Straw" Bowen. That might have been the beginning of the end. When everything else had failed.

At their champaignship years, Shaq > Yao, and Kobe > T-Mac. Rockets are playing great now, but I don't know if they will be consistent enough to beat all the other teams in playoff. They have better chance this year than before, though.
