Rice and Taylor suck. Thomas and Torres have provided more so far than they ever will.

The Rockets are much better team with Taylor in the starting lineup.

MLK was a proponent of non-violence, and advocated passive resistence. In this regard, he was a disciple of Gandhi, and an opponent of the Nation of Islaam, Malcolm X, Stockley Carmichael, etc...He believed that no injustice was so great as to justify violence as a response...This was what made him remarkable. He was hardly the first civil rights advocate, but his adherence to the non-violent means of resistence garnered him praise, both for it's nobility, and it's effectiveness...

Yay for MLK, but I think it's a bit melodramatic to apply what MLK stood for to a basketball game. KT and Shareef were competing today; fighting in some form on and off the court is a part of sports. Obviously it is not right, but it is what is.

Thanks for the response JAG - I would just like to make a slight disctinction....MLK didn't advocate 'passive' resistance, but rather very active resistance....'non-violent non-cooperation' to be specific...

BlastOff, it might seem a bit melodramatic for you, but one would think a day like today would mean a little more to Shareef and Kenny - after all, who's to say they'd be getting big contracts without guys like MLK in the past.

I agree Blastoff, I respect Dr. King, but I think it's a little bit dramatic to say you disrespected him by fighting. Fighting is bad anyday of the week not just today. I wish the Rockets were a reflectiong of Rudy T, that would mean they had 2 championship rings.

There you go still blinded by the 2 championships. Those championships were won by veteran players. Not coaching

I will go on record and say if Rudy don't make the playoffs next year. He will be fired.

The irony. No offense Bay Rock, but it's spelled Nazr. :p

What does chemistry have to do with this? Kenny didn't fight with a teammate. He didn't even start the incident.

BTW I may be delusional, but I don't believe this team is as bad as it seems to be.
There is now way we are worse than the hawks or bad enough to be blown out by the bulls. I guess it's just the stupid mistakes we make.

I would like to say that a team isn´t as good as it seems to be when they are winning, neither a team is as a bad as it seems when they are losing (with a very few exceptions). If you think I´m wrong, just read your posts after a Rockets win and compare it to those after the Rockets losses.

I think is very difficult to develop chemistry when you have used like a million of diferent starting lineups because of injuries. Just my thoughts.
