WOWWWW I can't believe it, i always thought he was all mellow and whatnot. He just started swinging blindly, that was hilarious.
Once again the refs could have avoided this whole situation by making simple foul calls on both sides.
Yeah, really surprised me too. All of the articles I have read about him talk about how he's a mellow, religious guy, that doesn't believe in hype, and won't do commercials or anything like that. He's one of the last guys I would've expected to see go off like that.
Can anyone give me a description of what happened? I'm at work, so I can't see the game, but saw on the Yahoo PBP that he and KT were ejected. What happened?
KT trying to get position inside. Rahim holding him and a few shoves start, then Rahim throws a right-cross right to KT's head. Luckily Rahim missed like Shaq. KT went after Rahim after that, but I don't think he threw any punches, yet he got thrown out anyways . What crap...but I'll trade KT for Rahim for the rest of the game. BTW, the possesion before this, Rahim had gotten a technical on the offensive end, for screaming about not getting a foul call on a few offensive putbacks.
They were fighting for position, the go at each other, Kenny's punches get blocked by Rahim, Rahim hits him and Kenny is restrained. Reef comes over the top and punches him twice on his head. Reef's always been labelled a suck so maybe he's finally changing.
Would have been better to see Mr. Mean and Mahorn go at it....ofcourse they would have gotten thier suits wrinkled.
it started the play before. Glover missed the shot, and SAR battled inside for the rebound, then another rebound on the missed put back, before putting it in. The Rockets were slapping at him/the ball, and he thought he was fouled. He got a tech for that. On the way back, KT and SAR fought for position on the elbow. THeir arms were locked, and then started shoving each other. Then SAR started throwing punches, one of which went right past KT's head, over his shoulder. I think he threw about 3 punches at KT. And then, I think Jim Boylen was trying to help hold him back, and he was still trying to throw punches. The Rockets went to protect KT immediately.
Rocks officially suck. Losing to Atlanta who can't hold a lead to save their careers... even with Steve!
Good play by Thomas, taking himself and Rahim out of the game. Too bad we couldn't capitalize on it, despite Francis' near quadruple-double.
Yeah, both players were throwing punches wildly. The poor ref who got in the middle of them early couldn't really do much to separate them, and basically got punched in the top of the head a lot. Should be suspensions for both guys, but SAR should get more, because he threw the first punch, and after the fight was broken up, and tried to charge Kenny again.
It looked like when the ref broke them up Rahim tried to punch Thomas and ended up hitting the ref. The refs face was all red.
That was hilarious. You should have seen Tierre Brown's face as he was observing the melee from the bench.
I saw Dan Langhi quickly get up and look, It would be cool if he just got Rahim and threw some roundhouse kick's in Rahim's grill..
