T-Mac looks great, really unselfish there at the end of the second quarter, passing up shots to get his teammates involved. Man, I really think they should have kept Bonzi. Maybe the Rockets can go deep this year.
nobody tries less with a few seconds left in the quarter than tmac. where others occasionally try to push it up and get a quick shot, he just either dribbles out the clock, gives it to someone else (after lolly-gagging for a few seconds), or does the patented wait until you hear the buzzer then take the shot so it won't hurt your fg% move.
Miami is on pace to shoot in the early to mid 40% and on pace to score about 96 points. How is that bad defense or average defense?
Seriously, if you just started watching the Houston Rockets last month, who would you think are the All-Stars on the team? It'd be Yao and Rafer.
Well, IMHO, they should put all the starters on for 3Q. Thrash the Heat, get into a lead of say 30 points........and then clear the bench for 4Q. Let the starters rest sufficiently for the back-to-back with the New Orleans Hornets.
This is the NBA, do you know how hard it is to hold a team to under 50 points every night? The Rockets give up, on average, 91 ppg. They're on pace to give up 96 points. How is that bad defense? McGrady doesn't think it's bad defense, the TNT studio doesn't think it's bad defense, how on earth is that bad defense!?
then bron's a ball stopper. wade is a ball stopper. melo is a ball stopper. iverson is a ball stopper. kobe is a ball stopper. did u see how dwade play in the first half? that was ball stopping at its best.
