didnt we get an extra roster spot with MJ heading out? and project/potential is nothing if we dont let gerald see the court!
This guy is a knucklehead.. He came to hoop one night at UH a couple of years ago, and got into it about 3 times w/ my bro (who's 5'8), even throwing the ball at him and getting in his face. All this after my brother stripped the ball a couple of times playing helpside D, and running his team off the court. It was pretty sad to see such a high prospect get flustered over a pick up game, but he definetly has a lot of talent, and hopefully can change his attitude and mold his game after T-mac.
excepting him to be a slasher. He just cant shoot long 2s. But i always remembered him as a decent three point shooter from his celtics days.

33% shooter.....his option wasn't picked up by the lowly T-Wolves...... ...not exactly the trade I was hoping for.
Wow! Green is not the best player and has not a great all-around game but for Snyder it's a almost a steal. 2nd pick ? We just acquired one from the Hornets so ... ! Nice move by Morey!
Chances are, if they like what they see in "practice" during the rest of the season, they will be able to sign him rather cheaply. Especially if Green wants to play in his hometown.
McGrady is his hero. If he gets any minutes with him, expect Tracy to set him up for some great dunks. Should be a real crowd pleaser. I don't know if he'll help us win games, but the guy is athletic as hell.
He averaged 11ppg, 45% shooting and like 38% threes i think in his last year with Boston. This was just a weird year for him. No minutes in Minni. I think with Tmac and Battier to give him some guidance he'll be fine. He's never been on a winning team with a good locker room. Think about it, he'd be a jr in college right now.
He needs to act like a professional and gives everything he has to the team. He should always be looking to cut toward the basket, absurb hard fouls. He's a good ft shooter, and he has to use his athleticism to get the fts. Also, Battier can teach him everything about defensive.
miami trades: jason williams, ricky davis miami gets: nene, najera, jr smith den trades: nene, najera, jr smith den gets: ron artest, kenny thomas sac trades: ron artest, kenny thomas sac gets: jason williams, ricky davis
Giving up a Aaron Brooks, or Shane Battier for Ron Artest is a high risk, high reward move. Picking up young talent like Green for bench fodder like Kirk Snyder is low risk, high reward exemplified. Morey's proven to be a good evaluator of talent (see: Jefferson, Al), so if he is high on Gerald Green, then so am I.
