It's people who don't buy lottery tickets. Gerald Green could turn out great, could turn out okay, but most likely he will suck. Even so, all you spent on him was a dollar, and it was worth it for the long-shot chance that he might be great.

I like it. Unlike the Bobby J trade, I think we get more talent in this trade.

 

Green WANTS to play for Houston. That right there is going to make him a better player. How many kids dream of playing for their hometown team and actually do get the chance? He's going to want to do good here. In Boston, he had a decent year, 10ppg in 22mins. Like somebody said earlier, he was a very pretty shooting form. Once he gets confidence in his shot, he could be a stud. It doesn't hurt to have another player that can attack the rim.

 

He is 21 years old? And you have already determined he is a scrub?

I mean he may very well turn out to be one, but the Rockets control his rights now and get a free look at him.....for a player that was not even in the team's plans.

I actually love this trade! Green is a young man with tons of potential and athleticism. Snyder was never going to contribute, and he wasn't part of the team's plans. Green is a much bigger player and he shoots better from three. It makes up a little for trading Bonzi to the Hornets for Bobby Jackson.

 

All i see is another stromile swift guy...
