I'll never use Fed Ex ground again. They have always done stupid blunders like leaving my package where I can't find it, now they have screwed me over on delivery request. They first attempted delivery at 6pm, so i told them i wasn't home, but i'll be home early the next time so they can drop it off around 6pm again. they said we'll note the driver to drop it off at 6pm. they drop by ... at 430pm! so i call them and say, f$$$ it, just keep it at the station and i'll pick it up there. i call them today to ensure that my package is at the station. they said 'the driver forgot the note and you package is in route'.

UPS on the other hand, hasn't screwed me over.
    In Brown we trust.

Yeah, always been a UPS guy.

Seems like their drivers are friendlier too.

I don't care which shiping vendor you choose. If you buy from me, you will be getting packages from FedEx. :p

I've used UPS for over 10 years, and though I've had one or two minor snafoos with UPS, I'm not willing to switch - I'd never consider it. Plus, I like the whiteboard commercials they're doing these days.

When I ship, I go to my cousin's mail room store and use whoever's cheapest. That being said, I think UPS does a better job.

I never really had any trouble with UPS until I moved into my current house. The person who did the deliveries here for the first year or so I lived here was apparently completely illiterate and massively stupid.

She didn't manage to properly deliver a single package in the year or so she was the delivery driver for my neighborhood. More than once, she'd leave my packages at houses that were under construction. Like you see a house that's only halfway bricked up and has no front door, but that doesn't make you think "Hey? Maybe I should recheck this address"

UPS eventually replaced the driver in my neighborhood, and I haven't had a problem since, but it sucked for a while (I had problems with FedEx at a previous address with a driver who would leave packages at random apartments regardless of the apartment listed on the package).

    You're kidding right?

I thought it was common knowledge that DHL delivery is worse than a deaf kid on a mule.

hate fedex. theyre more expensive and customer service sucks.

if i had the choice id go w/ USPS over UPS and FEDEX. theyre the cheapest and the package will get there.

Our UPS delivery person has the good sense to open the door of our storage building and place packages inside and close the door. FedEx leaves them on the ground by the back gate where the neighborhood dogs shred the box's and pee on stuff. Which do you think I like?

Fedex - They seem to take better care of the fragile electronics I ship.

IMO you get about the same service with both.. Overnight or Next day seem to get there a little faster with FedEx for most places.. I go with FedEx for most things for personal items, but our company uses DHL and they seem to break lots of things going over seas..

I prefer Fed Ex. I have always had problems with UPS, they lost some nice boots I bought my gf for Christmas a few years back. They put me through hell with that situation.

My dad and I own a UPS Store in Missouri City. UPS Stores are franchises so we don't work work for UPS. Whenever you can, do your business at UPS Store, you'll be helping out a small business owner. Shpping rates at a UPS Store are the same as a UPS customer service center, so you don't have to worry about surcharges.
