I guess Morey is sparing out salary space and acquiring a back-up PG instead of Brooks, all these are for Artest

Snyder doesn't have no REP or respect around the league.Bonzi fit the bill of what we needed backing up tracy. He has reputation of being ohysical, tough,he get's to the line, he gives us second chance points,He is respected. There is a reason snyder was on the bench and didn't play,Novak was activated over him.

How much money has he really lost? Last I heard, the Rockets were ranked in the top 5 of most profitable teams. I doubt any of these owners lose money.

Wait, so we're ranking players based on what they do in practice? Give me a break! I've seen Chuck Hayes make five FTs in a row during shoot around once. Doesn't mean anything. Until Landry shows me that he can do this in a game, I can't convince myself that he can rightfully take over Bonzi's role at the 3. Snyder is the better candidate for that.

I have not been against this trade, on the contrary I've stated all over the board that it constitutes a roster upgrade. I am upset that a 3rd legitimate scorer was not brought in. I am upset because everyone knows we need one and clearly the reason we don't have one is (as Feigen's press releases corroborate) that the owner is unwilling to take on salary.

Regarding 'lining his pockets further', you don't actually believe Les has been losing money on this Franchise do you? He could sell it for a $280M profit right now not to mention the few millions he is pocketing out of operating income every year.

Regarding the losses in his other investments, it's not my f#*king problem and neither is it any other fans. We are already paying for a decade of botched front office decisions. I don't see any need to pay for his the failures of his outside interests as well.

Overall. I believe Les has lost somewhere in the area of 1/2 billion of personal wealth.

Dude. If we lose Mcgrady again this season we are done. Bonzi is not enough to fill that void. It's been proven over and over again. Head is a better replacement IMO.

If you're talking about Bonzi replacing Mcgrady when he comes out for a breather you're talking about 8 minutes a game, and Bonzi doesn't contribute significantly enough in those 8 minutes to make him indispensable.

Im not saying he can take over as a three....Im just saying he can move over to that position if need be....If Chuck and Scola can play C for us then Landry can play 6 or 7 minutes at the 3.

We start to luv Bonzi, that's why it is so hard to let him go.. if it happen last year, maybe nobody care.. Beside that, we dont want our rival get our rotation man..
anyway, just hope Boby find home in Rockets and his good relation with Rick will fruitfull for Rocket again..

ps: who know its only a bait to get Artest?

Well this is how it works....

Some of us don't like the deal...I dont...but yall know what..its done...lets not even harp on it anymore...cuz the second BJax hits a GW 3 with 2.0 seconds left in a game...we'll start "thank you morey" threads and praise Bobby for being here...so lets go ahead and embrace this deal, we really have no choice, cuz this isn't gonna make you turn against the Rockets...no matter what you think or say.

We will all cheer Jackson for his hustle, his spark of the pine, and his 3s...so lets just come to grips with this. Besides...we got Miami tonight...LETS GET IT!!

(btw, did you guys hear that Marion may be on the move?!?!??! WOW)

yea, i've heard the same, through some external (non rockets related) investments. he's also one of the poorest gm's in the league... so i've heard (no data to back it up)

Again....Bonzi was NOT Tracy insurance policy. Not even close! Head carried more of the load when Tracy was out. Are we watching the same games?

Look, if losing Bonzi means that this team no longer has a shot, then we have bigger issues than I thought. I better start cheering for the Spurs....3 months earlier than I like lol

Are any of those loses contributed by the Rockets? Or are they because of his other private businesses?

The question is do we need bobby jackson,Were you thinking about bobby jackson 2 weeks ago to swap with bonzi in-order to make us better. Why do we need bobby jackson over bonzi wells and leave mike james out of it. How does thsi make us better when we have duplicate players in that position.

    Exactly. Why should we care?

If he's feeling the pinch and that's why he's trying to get under the luxury tax limit then from a fan's perspective the Rockets would be better off in the hands of a rich internet billionaire who will buy the team a new plane and dump money into the organization.

All thssi crying about losing Bonzi is really killing me today!! I can't believe it! What is he REALLY giving us this year? How consistent has he been? I think a lot of people have this 'idea' of the bonzi the had a good series vs S.A. 2 years ago. 'That' is not the Bonzi we have on our team right now.

We complain about Rafer getting too many minutes and what if he reverts back to having bad shooting games, L. Head TRYING to play backup PG, A. Brooks being a rookie and not ready for the playoffs, then we go out and get rid of a unwanted contract (M James) and bring in a really good backup PG that can still play. What is the complaining about? B Jax is going to shut all you up really quick when he hits the floor doing his thing off the bench. So be sure to log back in here and submit your apologies about this trade.
