with shaq's age, he will easily be injured in this brutal west conference. this was the first game he came back from hip injury. just wait and see how long he can stay on bball court.

it's ain't 1 on 1 baby, if this is the case, the 02-03 kings shoulda knocked out in the 1st round but they almost beat the lakers in WCF.

what's really sad is our franchise player is not as good, yao or tmac, take your pick, as kobe or nash. we already lost on paper when we started building our team. even if we made moves to add equally talented players as lakers or suns, we wouldn't be as good. that's why the point of this thread is moot.

watching the game, they had no defense. they scored easily.

Rockets have defense, and more likely to slow the pace of the game, which then, they might try to force paul gasol and shaq to post up, which i think yao and hayes can do a wonderful job.

Yeah, it was so awful I couldn't stop watching. Same for the Celts/Warriors game later on. Those dramatic, exciting games will ruin the NBA.

Suns are still good...we need more games to see if the trade was a good idea.

I must say the Lakers are looking good. BLAH!

Shaq needs some support on the count like with Kobe in Laker. but he could not get it from Wade at Miami. so now he is back to his form.

with all that being said i still think the rockets are with the "bottom" portion of the west playoff teams....Lakers and Suns are just toooooooo good :( :(

but if we can pull artest i think well hop in that premier group

Man...I couldn't agree more. Those empty seats at GS and PHX...the lack of crowd response. The fact that I actually had to make decisions on which game was less boring as I surfed back and forth between them.

I'm certain David Stern picked up on this and will want to reverse the rules so that we can go back to Charles Barkley...."backin' it in...backin' it in...backin' it in....".

Whatever. You're the only one quitting on the Rockets and think the Lakers are unstoppable.

We didn't even make it to the bench. Its not one matchup that the rox can hang their hat on except yao. Even the yao matchup will be too close. They come off the bench with radmonivish, turiaf, walton, vujacik, ariza, and whoever else they pull out their ass. To make it worse, their all young.
