This thread is dedicated to Bonzi Wells who I believe could have parted with the Rockets under better terms. Thanks for all of the memories.

Bonzi, I will truly miss you as a Rocket. You were a big part of this year's team and I think you would have been a key player in the Playoffs. It's just unfair you have to go in a bad trade like this.

All the best in New Orleans, you're still in a good team and may get even more minutes.

    :(

Darn, I have change my sig now. I have very high hopes on Bonzi to be starter and to help to bring us the championship. Now there all gone. Bonzi
used to be clutch and could close tight games but he is now with our DIVISION rival.

Bonzi - I wish you luck, but honestly, I don't think you ever fully fit in or were as good as advertised.

    i won't miss him much.

he ruined last season. he wasn't the consistent 3rd scoring option he was supposed to be this year. his defense was horrible. of course he had positive aspects as well but they don't negate the negatives.

he won't be missed and would've been gone after this season anyways.

hoping that bonzi would've been an x-factor in the playoffs is just fooling yourself. the hornets and their fans will see it with their own eyes now.

I wonder how he's feeling right now. Still remember Les Alexander saying at Rick Adelman's press conference "We love Bonzi!"

    Apparently not that much, Les.

As for Bonzi appreciation: I appreciate his performance in about half of the past half-season. He finally paid some dividends.

Good Luck with Byron Scott ... not really. I hope he doesn't help the Hornets too much. He wasn't my favorite player but I wish him well, just not against us.

    Great post.

Thanks for half of one season on one side of the court bonzi. Hopefully someone gives you that fat pay raise you don't deserve.

    Chris Gattling redux.

Farewell Bonzi!! (oh and mike...) Damn i've been loving seeing how he played with this team, i still remember him being beastly in the 2000 WCF in portland, and was looking forward to seeing that happen with US this year :(

alas, no more. All the best for bonzi from down under, just not against the rockets. we'll take u and your new team out in the playoffs, it's coming!!

He was fun to watch and always entertaining... he looked like he liked it here in houston too!

Hope you best of luck Bonzi.

He was like fools gold... for every highlight dunk, or productive game, he'd throw up some stinkers where he never looked ready to play (just as recently as the Kings game). Additionally, you can't play Yao+T-mac+Bonzi together... that lineup has never been productive, mainly because teams dare bonzi to shoot outside shots.

The only thing that's clouding people right now is that this team is winning (more due to Scola being in the starting lineup, the emergence of Landry, and T-mac playing within the system)... even though we really haven't played anybody of note.

Agreed except for the "haven't played anyone part"

San Antonio, GS, and Cleveland all count as at least decent teams....

We'll miss you in the playoffs, when the game usually slows down. Blame MJ's and Francisesess's suckitude for your departure.
