I would be so pissed off if they don't have further move. They better get Artest to the team real soon or this trade could hurt us so bad...Bozi could be a hero in the playoff...

China Ante management needs to fly in Houston to try to save Bonzi Wells @$$ being traded, just like last time China Peak management flew to Houston to convince Houston Rockets not to trade away Shane Battier..... :D

Man...I'm okay to get rid of Mike James.....but Bonzi Wells ?? That's tough as I thought Bonzi had been playing well.

I was working out the salary cap math for a possible Artest trade.

I believe the Rockets were about 1.7 million over the tax threshhold before the deal.

If they complete this trade, and then package Haluska (whose contract, I think, can be packaged in a fairly small window of time like 48 hours) along with Snyder, Francis, Brooks and Head to SAC for Artest, the Rockets will remain under the tax threshhold.

Hornets, Rockets and Grizzles are all in the same division. This trade is weird. When is the last time 3-team trade within the same division ?

Well, I'm not going to sleep for the next 44 hours of so, and be hopeful this comes true.

Just got on here to see this trade going down and I just have a few things to say.

I'm glad we got rid of James' salary, even if we're taking Jackson's in return.

I believe that, in the playoffs, Bobby Jackson would help more than either of the two guys we traded away.

Ron Artest isn't walking through that door.

Mike Miller isn't walking through that door.

I was supposed to fix my essay by tomorrow and study for my Stats test, but i end up checking Clutchfans every 5 mins and rooting for the Celtics to beat the Warriors.
I dont think i will even go to class tmr if there are no follow up trades

I was looking at that exact same scenario. The problem with that to me seems to be that if you do that, you've basically got two PGs left on the entire roster. Plus, in that scenario, it seems like Artest would end up with some minutes at SG. I don't know. We'd be really thin at the guard spots all of a sudden. What would happen if we made that trade and Rafer or BJ went down?

I think we're done dealing, unfortunately.
