if Bobby J remains healthy, it may not be so bad...the backup one was more important than the backup 2 at this point. We can fill some of bonzi's holes with shooting from head, inside presence from Landy....eh...screw it, who am I kidding? the only other swingman with Bonzi's dimension (even if he doesn't bring it every night) is Tracy.

but he won't remain healthy....we won't do anything else...and we have to spend another playoffs watching the rest of the nation hype up teams and players we don't care about.

if this is the only deal we make then it's just terrible. bonzi was playing fairly well in his role and now he helps our direct competition.

of course if this moves frees morey to trade brooks for artest then it was just brilliant.

Great trade by New Orleans though. How is it that every team in contention for the West playoffs got better, and we actually got worse?

I think Adelman believes he can revive the old Bobby Jackson. If he can wake up Bonzi from last year's fiasco, it might end up working out for us....

Terrible trade...If this is a salary dump, then we need a new owner ASAP.

We're finally playing well, and Bonzi is the third most talented player on this team. And we trade him for an undersized shooting guard that's averaging 6ppg? Is there even proof that Bobby Jackson is better than Mike James at this point?

 

I'll start Bobby Jackson over Rafer Alston any day. Bobby will bring toughness in defense and the ability to attack and not just settle for 3 pt shots. Rafer can't attack and his floater is a joke. Bobby is older but i can still see he can still play.

I wish Houston can get Artest. I am surprised they get only Jackson for Bonzi + James. They ought to be able to get more.

 

Well, hopefully this will led to another deal for artest or Miller tomorrow. Now they can deal Brooks as they have a back up point guard in Bobby Jackson. Otherwise this is a bad trade if it doesn't follow up with the trade for Miller or Artest.
