Yao is so soft he averages 20-10 at a 50% clip for the year despite double and triple teams just about every single game.

Guess what, he can only get better!!!!

ah yes, you're right, see i did say he was soft, but i also said he was talented. just do the normal thing and agree with everybody else. Don't mention the actual facts that i never flamed Yao as you guys may like to think. Leave out all the positive things i say about him and just read into negative parts. There's a difference. There is constructive criticism, which i implied with Yao, then there is negative criticism, which is what you guys have been doing with me.

My godness! I can understand it. Most people here very angry with Yao in mind after this game, like yao and hate his game meanwhile. :(

The thread deserves some respect I think. Deke should kick Yao's soft ass after this game. :D

Bringing up race issue in this dumb thread is r****ded. Look in the mirror and admit to yourself that you are a r****d.

Moronically bringing up the race issue.

Calling people who don't agree with you Y O Fs.

Trying to discredit another poster by dissing his command of English.

What's the next gay tactic that you are going to use? What a moron.

i respect your sarcasm, i prolly deserve it.

i think i'm just tired of the game to game wins and i've been thinking alot about the big picture. i think i just got a little bit worked up with how Yao's play has been below his capability, that it worked me up enough to want to express my feelings with some other Rockets fans. In all honesty, i did only want to debate the subject with no hate or bashing going on. i think i picked the wrong time to do this after a win and when most people here are in really good moods, as i should have been.

it's just weird, normally i'd just be happy after the win regardless of what happened because we need every damn win we can get. watching Yao throughout that whole game was just hard for me though. I did not watch the houston telecast btw, i had to hear cleveland's announcers who were biased towards the cavs, but had a couple good points about Yao. They were saying the same thing i first brought up with how this style of center is becoming extinct. one of them said Yao stated in an interview recently, that he himself believes that this style of a center is not that productive compared to a more athletic center whenever teams have the players who can run at him(something along those lines). To me, that pisses me off. That makes me think Yao does not even have the proper mindset to be who he needs to be on this team. Watching the rest of the game, he looked plain soft, all of you should be able to admit that.

It's not just this game either, it's been going on for awhile now. Even with all the wins and everything, it just feels to me that they don't mean anything if Yao doesn't step back up to where he was starting to be a while ago when he was out there looking WAY more confident and aggressive.

I'm really just thinking alot about the playoffs and overall how the team truly is gelling together and what have you, than an individual game. I love the win, but i do care more about the big picture, and how the team is looking in the win. yada yada yada, anyway. Landry looked awesome tonight! rafer, wtf my .... (knock on wood).
