I hate to jump on the Meat and Potatoes bashing but cmon man we talkin about Eddy Curry. Yao is a top two center if not the best center in the league. He has the ability to dominate games with his low post game. He demands a double team all the time and this allows people like alston and battier to get open threes. He has so many shots and even though he doesnt dunk like dwight; I think his shooting touch and low post savy by far make up for his unathleticism. Dwight Howard has little low post game but the man can fly. I kno its not the flashy brand of basketball many want to watch but he plays in a way that is condusive to winning in the playoff. Slow the game down and play great defence that is how championships are won. He is the Rockets most valuable player and mayb a top 5 MVP candiate. Eddy Curry has no post game and is fat. Amare Stoudamire couldnt do anything without Nash and he cant guard centers thats why they traded for Shaq. Elton Brand has injury problems and does not have the same post game as Yao. Camby cant play half the game and cmon Okafor cant shoot FT or play offensively like Yao. And of course Eddy Curry is turrible

how did i act tough again? i expressed my feelings about how Yao has been playing. Since then, i reread the post and thought about it in a more sensible way. i realize that it may seem to some that i only made this thread to bash Yao for having a bad game, and i've already said that i made it to openly discuss Yao. I'm sorry if that doesn't satisfy you. I was never overwhelmed with anger. I think you bought into the punch lines a little too much with all the other you-know-whats from here.
No matter how angry anyone ever gets with Yao, there exists no excuse for confusing this stat line: 13.7 ppg / 4.8 rebs / .5 bpg / .6 apg (Curry ) with this one: 22.2 ppg / 10.8 rebs / 2.1 bpg / 2.4 apg Yao This is not a debate. One is significantly, inarguably, absolutely better than the other. Say what you will about toughness, grit, heart, or any other immeasurable quantities. I'll take the guy that's averaging a double double.
