landry is not a 1-on-1 player. he gets a lot of his shots from the double teams of tracy on the perimeter off the pick and roll. and tracy usually finds him.

i agree we need to run more plays for scola.

give tracy time. andre miller is not going to make this team better with the way rafer is playing. andre cannot shoot 3s and he has to with the way teams double our stars.

artest would help us, but then what purpose would battier serve b/c he isn't going to get more than 15 minutes with artest here. and you risk losing one of your young players?

we have the pieces to contend. we just have to make it work and our stars have to deliver in the playoffs. the role players not stepping up won't be an excuse (unless they suck again, which i believe they won't)

    great win tonight!

    questions:
what is up with our freethrow shooting?
is rafer playing too many minutes?

I think Scola may be able to handle the playoff pressure due to his experience, but not sure about Landry. The last game vs SAC, you could tell that our players treated it as a huge game (for the first 3 quarters, at least), and Landry could not handle the pressure.

He may need to go into the crapper in pressure situations a couple more times to get it out of his system. Not sure if he'll get enough of those types of opportunities (pressure packed situations in big games) under his belt before the playoffs start though.

Man I just don't get Rafer. Some nights like tonight, he looks like a solid pg when he's shooting like that from the perimeter and setting the offense up. This was a really good win, we just flat took care of business in this game and left no doubt.

10 in a row here we come! Take care of business against the Heat!

ROFL. Horrible officiating in the Denver - Boston game.

Remember the Indiana game? He did well under the pressure, the only reason we won.

“Rafer’s playing unbelievable,” said McGrady, who has made 23 of 73 shots in his past five games. “With my offense now, I’m struggling. I’m struggling with my shot. I don’t know what’s going on with me offensively. With Rafer playing so well and other guys playing so well, it’s really a great feeling to have all the pressure on you offensively. I suck right now. I get it going every now and then, but through the course of the game, I suck.”

 Tmac is clearly frustrated. But really hope he'll get back to form because we need to him to step up big for tough games ahead.

He still had 8 assists. Give him time.
