Terrific win...Scola, Landry and Rafer really stepped up big at different points of the game.

T-Mac was strange tonight...most of his shots were good ones, and he looked as explosive as he has since the start of the season 9and he was actually driving to the rim!). Just wasn't hitting his shots.

Yao's feet couldn't have been glued to the floor THAT much if he got 14 boards.

Ugly offensively, yes, but the defense was a thing of beauty. Though, frankly, the Cavs had more unforced turnovers than I can count.

Utah with 7 point lead over Golden State in the 2nd quarter (48-41). A Utah win moves the Rockets into sole possesion of 7th place.

It's called matchups and adjustments....Something JVG never did or never had the opportunity to do with the weak talent we had the last few years.

    This team is completely different.

Tmac's shooting is a concern, but thankfully we won. Still we need him to break out of his slump soon.

Starters Shooting over the past 5 games:

Tmac: 22-70 for 11.4 pts per game
Yao: 40-77 for 23.2 pts per game
Alston: 29-63 for 15.8 pts per game
Scola: 24-37 for 11.2 pts per game
Battier: 19-44 for 10 pts per game

Scola having 2 more made shots while taking a whopping 33 less attempts than Tmac means we probably need to call more plays for Scola.

Head is back! Rafer kicked ass, and some idiot said we should bench Bonzi earlier this season.

I still can't believe we could possibly be 9th by the end of the night. AHHH!

What would you do if DALLAS FELL OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS!? Imagine this trade slowing them down just enough to barely miss the playoffs? What a cover story, 67 wins #1 first round losers one year, 48 wins and playoffless the next!

He didn't jump for them. ;) His foot speed looked somewhere between one miles per hour and two miles per hour. And honestly, I don't think he ever left the floor. Not one of his stellar games.

Did he really get 14 rebounds? I must have dozed off.

No Chuck Hayes again. And the Rockets defense is still rocking. That's a very positive sign.

It's a statement to the rest of the league: we can still kick ya a$$ with our big guns off!
