Sorry, but all of those players ARE worse than Head. Head has his weaknesses, true, but he's much better than all 5 of those players. I would trade him for other players, though not sure about Jack.
I would do it but Jack isn't the answer. Just another mediocre type guy. He wouldn't take Rafer's spot. Jack's potential has been overrated for awhile now.
Well I'll have to respectfully disagree. I'm no Head lover. Go ahead and look up my posts and you'll see that barely think Head belongs in the league. I throw him in every trade proposal. But saying Wafer and Brown are more versatile than Head is just disingenuous. He has one dimension, they have none. I've watched Wafer play since his first Lakers summer league appearance, the man has no game. The best player on that list is Salim, and he's just like Head but underperforming. You're just hating at this point.

Jarret Jack is too valuable to be on a team like the Blazers, they should cut him so he can go to a better team. I don't care what team he goes to, but I'd prefer they let him, Jack, off.
Dude good observation.....Jack is really a good, young, and driving point guard.....I would do it and give Novak more minutes for shooting purposes.....Novak can't get abused as worse as Head has on defense.

And, next year Blazers are probably giving chance also to young super PG prospect Petteri Koponen who is 6'5" European pass-first pg. He was their first round draft pick in 2007 (few picks after AB). They could trade Jarrett to make room for Petteri.
chemistry wise, i wont take the deal. luther is of greater importance to the team than trading him for jack caliber.. I would prefer to package luther and and mike james for a big point guard.. R-jay---aka pisaybased
Jarret Jack is not afraid to penetrate and attack the rim. I just finished watching one of his highlight videos on you tube.
Head is not consistent handling the ball and seems to shoot worse with tmac out there but he did a good job when tmac was out. I think he's a clutch shooter and we could always use him at some point but I like jarret jacks game.. You guys have to admit Luther and Yao are the best combo for the high post cut the basket move
From that list, I'll take Watson for his potential as well as Price and Stoudamire over Head. Hart is about equal to Head. They both suck. I'll give you Ross, Ollie and Damon Jones. Jones only because of his age and the fact that he is similarly one-dimensional.
