My house has been getting power outages in certain rooms. Two of the bedrooms, parts of the kitchen, and the garage have been going off every few hours and then would randomly turn back on. The rest of the house is fine. This has been happening recently, but I've been hearing intererence from my speakers as well as flicking lights the past few months.

And just now, when trying to find the source during a shortage, I turn my stove on (it's also affected) and the lights turn back on in the affected areas. I did that several more times and the same thing happens.

Is the stove affecting the power? And is the problem fixable or do I have to call an electrician?

    Call an electrician.

Better yet- is it a new house? If so, your home warranty will probably cover it.

    Call an electrician.

I had a similar problem and it was one of the Jaw Clamps in the meter that needed to be replaced.

Not a do it your self kind of job.
