With all due respect, I think this is wacked. We suffered under an incompetent Republican Congress and an incompetent President for several years (it seems an eternity) and what did it get us? Finally, we boot the GOP out of control of one branch of government and are fixing to boot them out of the other. Based on their record, why would we want a Republican Congress to hamstring a new Democratic President, whoever it is? If Obama gets it, do you seriously believe a GOP Congress would allow him to push through his agenda? And I don't think McCain would make an excellent President, unless you think having our military in Iraq the next several decades is a good idea.

"I don't know why people hate the other side so much. I never really got it. Bush and Hillary had the same problems"

I'm sorry, but what does that mean? I can't think of two people that have less in common than George W. Bush and Hillary Clinton.

"i think nothing would restore faith in America then having it elect a black muslim president"

    What??

    Impeach Bush.

because i don't trust either party having too much power. give the dems control of both branches and they'll try to push an agenda that's going to serve their lobbyst interests.

bush and hillary are both rather toxic and distastefull to all those out side of their core base. I don't like either one. It's McCain or Obama to me. I guarantee you if Hillary gets the nomination, McCain will be the next president.

There's a difference between public perception and how things are carried out in Washington on matters of policy. Just because conservative voters think a certain way doesn't mean the politicians on Capitol Hill have the same mentality. They don't.

i can think of plenty and i would argue that bush and clinton have more similarities than differences.

    calls for attacking iran
refuses to pull out of iraq
    pro-amnesty/open borders
    pro-gun control
anti-free speech/has protesters removed from public events
    a liar
    too tied to corporate interests
