(CNN) -- Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf said Friday he thinks Osama bin Laden has not been able to get treatment for his kidney disease and is most likely dead.

The topic of this thread is irresponsible. Musharraf said this several hours ago. This was not breaking news at the time of the post, and bin Laden has certainly not been "found" dead.

EDIT: Thanks for changing the title. Much better.

    *** THREAD TITLE EDITED ***

sLaNd B a L L a -- please be careful with thread titles. Posting "BREAKING NEWS: BIN LADEN FOUND DEAD!!" is not just misleading.... it's totally false. Thanks....

That was such a stupid title, where in your articles does it say they found his body?

Not that it's as near as relevent, but this reminds me of when gettingbranded posted a thread with the title something like: "Jordan is not coming back."

I don't like it when people post titles when they are opinions and make it sound as if its a fact. He made it sound like he officially had made his decision not to come back when as we all know he did return to the NBA.

I actually would not be surprised if he was dead. I reported here a while back that he needed dialysis... No one ever listens. :)

And if anyone would know, it would be Musharaf. If Osama is still in Afghanistan, then the Pakistani ISI (their military intelligence - the guys who created the Taliban) would know where he is. I've thought all along that the ISI knew where both he and Omar were, as the Taliban (and Al Qaeda) was largely controlled by ISI... If the ISI knows, then Musharaf knows - he used to be their commander.

If he is still in Afghanistan, then he is quite likely dead. Or very, very sick and soon to be dead. But he very well might have fled. There are reports that he has fled through Iran with the help of Imad Mugniyeh and Iranian Intelligence and departed Bandar Abbas by boat... I'm sure they could get him a dialysis machine, too.

We always listen to you and take you seriously. We're usually on opposite sides, but I consider you credible.

However, there is just so many conflicting reports about bin Laden that it's impossible to take anything at face value. One day, he's departed by sea... the next, the CIA thinks he's still in Afghanistan.

hell, last week, bin Laden sightings rose by something like 4000% in one town in Utah. Turns out they were simply having a conference of Greek Orthodox priests. I guess some of them have long beards...
