He would fit great and will still be close to home. I think the Rocket's and the Spurs have as good a shot as anybody. Again, he'd be close to home and pay less taxes. There is alot of controversey on this board but I think were all in agreement that we should pick him up for the minimum, and i'm really starting to think we might have a chance.

Jackhouse is washed up garbage. Hell, even at his peak he wasn't that great.

    No, thank you.

You can't sign Stackhouse. He is signed with the Mavericks.

For all the hypothetical random posts on players we could sign that i see EVERY DAY, this actually has merit. Yesterday I assumed that he would go back to the mavs. Now, I assume that he'll go to the rockets or the spurs. I'm still really excited about the tampering decision. This is going to be an amazing turnaround
on our chances of beating dallas even if we don't land Stack. I think he's old and don't really LOVE his game but if he could be taken from the mavs and be had for peanuts, I'm all over that.

You do realize that he's still with the Mavericks, right? The trade hasn't (and probably won't) go through, therefore he's gonna finish the year with the Mavs.

i guess since the nba wont allow him to resign with the mavs if traded there's a chance. he doesn't want to relocate and we're the closest team to dallas.

there is a chance that either this screws up the kidd trade or he's looking for a new team and why not us?
