This is a pretty pointless thread considering there are so many trade threads already, but it could have at least been a poll. EDIT: Spoke too soon. My apologies. But to answer your question, I think Morey is going to put on his robe and wizard hat in an attempt to make a last minute deal, but it will scare the other GMs away and nothing will materialize.
morey's indicated that he's going to be active.... whether that amounts to anything or not i dont know. i would love to see a deal for cassell, though.

Traditionally this is the weekend where all of the rumors will start coming out in the open. If the Rockets talk to anybody we'll probably know in a couple of days.
well considering snyder asked for a trade, i'd bet on a minor cap-relief type of deal. now, will it be just snyder to seattle for their TE? or will we be able to swap luther for west while we're at it? either way, i dont see anything fun like andre miller, mike miller, or ron artest. i dont even see the rockets making a dream move like head, james, steve, and snyder for cassell and mobley. can you imagine that? bringing back two fan favorites, PG help, scoring help, and saving the clippers $15M. no, nothing like that. snyder for a TE will probably be it.
i think that's a good deal for both sides. luther would flourish in their running system and west would shore up our back up pg problems.
even though I think landry will level off (hope not) I think it would be a big mistake to trade him. how many rookies look this good right off the bat? not too many.
that would be awesome but i doubt it happens because he'd have to trade bonzi, and that's not likely to happen. and the other miller... andre... great PG but can't spread the floor for us.

I'd love to get Mike Miller. I consider that a major trade and do't think Memphis will move him to a division rival. So, I voted for a minor tweek of the roster.
He cant stretch the defense with his 3 point shooting. If you cant make the defense honor that, its a LOT tougher to drive on them when they are daring you to shoot. I think that was the point being made about Andre.
What does Memphis care about a division rival? I mean seriously. The way their managment has been they wont compete for a long time.
