In my opinion, this is exactly the type of win we needed

Guys, we won, that is ultimately a good thing. And in the western conference, a +1 in the W column may be crucial in not just making the playoffs, but the seeding once in the playoffs. It may be the difference between facing the Mavs or the Nuggets in the first round. Let's just be happy and applaud the team for an 8 game winning streak.

But beyond the win, in my opinion the lapse in the second half is exactly what the team needed. It wakes the team up, it exposed the weaknesses for improvement, and it gives the guys the feeling that yeah, this is still the NBA, and any team can still beat any team at any time. I would rather them win a close one than win by another 12-15 points. If we had blown out a team like Sacramento, I can bet that coming back from the AS break, the overconfidence would be detrimental to the team.

The players can now keep their mind on their mistakes from this game going into the weekend break, and come back strong. It's a blessing in disguise. And still, you know what, we won!

if this happened for the first time, it could be a wake up call.

Now this is the 123th time that they've lost the huge lead, it is just a normal routine to them.

I think everyone already knew the problem, there is just no solution.

This team wont improve until you change the personal.

You're right, for some reason 4th quarter collapses happen all the time to the Rockets and they still haven't fixed it (so don't know if this game will fix it). I think it's partly Rafer's fault for not slowing down the game in the 4th.

It's the kind win that allow to us play clutch shots or test our nerve but that is if only we (Adelman or players) purposely wanted to train ourselves. If we reached such situation because of weak mentality, lack of will, underestimate opponent or others, then we should be concerned and need to find a remedy.

    This is crappy apology.

If the team didn't fall in sleep during a racing for the playoff, no wake up call was necessary.

Why other team can win like 60+ games a season without being waken up repeated?

Why do this NBA team like to sleep so much? Is it because the weather or the wrong perception of the Arena?

Morey should do something with the Arena so that the Crowd and the PLAYERS will not fall in asleep all the time.

They have closed out games with big leads in the 4th quarter recently both at home and on the road, so they have improved. If you've given up on the season (during a 17-3 stretch, no less), then feel free to stop following the team and whining all of the time. We don't need any more gutless fans.

Well we did lose one of our star players in the midst of one of the hardest schedules in the nba, and we pulled off .500 in those times... along with adjusting with the new system and finding the right line-ups and where everyone falls into place.

I agree the TC needs to liven up a little bit, especially after switching to the warriors game and seeing and hearing their crowd

The solution is path the ball to Yao and pull Yao to the high post.

Everytime the ball kept away from Yao, everyone else will start shotting at random.

Yao need to be positioned at the high post and direct the traffic in the fourth. Getting deep in the paint while other teams start double him hard in the fourth make him inefficient. His teammate will go headless (no pun intended) when he gets no ball(no pun intended).
