OK I know that the Rockets will have little to no chance of signing any of the big name free agents in the summer, like Tim Duncan and Grant Hill. So what kind of draft pick can they expect if they do not make the playoffs and where do they need to improve? The back court to me seems like one that could end up being one of the best all time 1-2 guard combos. They seem pretty set at small forward with Anderson although he is streaky. The draft last year pretty much was an attempt to replace Barkley at power forward and they signed Cato to a long year contract at center. There are three big things here and that is what do they need, what do they want, and what can they afford this summer? I think they need to work on the 4-5 spots a little more myself. As for next summer, with Hakeem Olajuwon gone (sad to even think it) so goes his large salary. So the big question for next year is who are the big name free agents for the summer of 2001 and even with Olajuwon's large salary gone can Houston afford any of them? As for next summer I have know idea what key free agents there will be so please posts your responses and let me know what you know.

I'd rather go 2-82 than win a championship with an former San Antonio Spur!

I meant to say 2-80 with a former Spur! It'll never happen!
