Came back to the screen to hear the end of a comment that the depositions are "fairly devastating." ...devastating to whom?
on its face it would be damning...especially to people like you i'd need to understand the testing better....the possibilty that it was tampered with. because i find it way too convenient that all of a sudden he turns over evidence that would have helped him months ago.
yes it would but I would want to see what the scientists think before making a complete decision. IE- how hard would it be to manufacture evidence, is it possible that other things like B12 or Lidocaine would NOT be present if that was what was in the original shot? Yes, but I believe that McNamee was still protecting Clemens.....until Clemens escalated it with that phone call. DD
i know what you believe. saying someone is protecting someone while at the same time ratting them out is absolutely and utterly nonsensical to me.
Yes, but again, you ignore the rep saying they had no clue about that. Yes, but again the rep says he gave us this info when he didn’t have to. That’s all we have to go on. I take it as we asked him about his roid use and he told us everything. I understand that he lied before and while I am not ok with that, is it really a surprise for someone to lie when there is no consequence (i.e. to the media) and then tell the truth when they are under oath? The bottom line is that at the end of the day are they telling the truth under oath or not? I am not saying it is unbelievable in all cases. Folks are innocent until proven guilty, and clearly in this case nothing can be proven. It’s all hearsay. But you seem to keep saying (forgive me if I’m mistaken) that Roger testified and appeared so I believe him, all the while ignoring that it’s very easy to go testify and lie. Other athletes have done it. Roger gets no bonus from me for going to testify. You can lie to Congress too!!!! I don’t believe him because my common sense guide tells me not to. When first confronted he took a while to make a real statement, and that was after counsel was hired. It reminds me of when I ask a person a question and they stammer before answering….it makes me less likely to believe them…i.e. they need time to get their story straight. That happens less when you are telling the truth. He first said he was never injected, then he gave a BS reason for being injected. Two other players that the trainer snitched on said he was correct in what he said about them. I don’t see why he would lie about Roger. I don’t see our government having an agenda to nab Clemens, or to coerce someone to name him if he isn’t guilty. That’s what you essentially have to believe if you think the trainer was pressured to give him up and I don’t but it. And lastly, he said his momma told him to take B12!!!! What more do you need, lol. Let your common sense be your guide………
LOL - oh come on......how can you not understand it....McNamee knew that it was a He said/He said statement. But once Clemens ratted him out on national TV.....the gloves were off. DD
I turned on the tv and halfway through i heard Clemens talked about his brother or something doing mar1juana.... Then he said something about him fighting the abuse and finishing school... Can someone explain the story to me, it seems touching in a way....
Again...I find it very hard to believe that it NEVER came up when interrogated by officers or those compiling the mitchell report.
