I don't think its that big of a deal. You just wait in a longer line. Hotels give you soap, shampoo, and toothpaste. I don't think the restrictions on liquid really make us any safer, but they don't inconvenience me either.
Dude. DHS costs the US ~45 billion per year. 45 billion dollars for bull**** programs. Government waste at its most obvious.
It really is true. TSA = Thousands Standing Around. I worked for the airlines. Don't get me started on the security breaches. Trust me, you REALLY don't want to know.
I was flying through london heathrow and I had to check my bag because my contact solution was 105 ml and the limit was 100ml. Are you effing kidding me? So my bag didn't arrive in Germany when I arrived for 5 effing ml. To top it all off, I had to deal with the brittish condascending attitude. You haven't seen crappy airports until you have flown through london heathrow.
I haven't had any problems with them ever since it was implemented. Follow the rules then you're fine.
Who the hell still uses gel??? Are they going for that wet look? Get out of the 90's kids. It's all about texture now!
I see opportunity FedEx and UPS should have a kiosk right next to the check-in area. People who have things that won't get past TSA can just fedex or UPS it to their destination or back home (either way, at least they won't lose it). Fedex and UPS could make a LOT of money with that.
I had some freaking TSA jackass take my can of Suave maximum hold mousse and my 2.5 ounce bottle of Aqua Velva -- I was pissed. I'll never fly TSA again.
Wow...I guess it helps when you get to bypass security every time. They are very professional with me at the exit.
