I bet the second wave of protests will be much more recognized and have more exposure because there will be more lead time to contact news organizations and such.
It seemed to go a step further here: <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/HxMO335rK1w&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/HxMO335rK1w&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object> Of course, everything wasn't just fun and games: <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CnQtiLz8ubI&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CnQtiLz8ubI&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

One of the guys at the Houston protest seemed to do a great job of explaining the actions of Anonymous to local news (probably the best of anyone I've seen from these protests): <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Uf4LVuwtkUI&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Uf4LVuwtkUI&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object> I think he also talked to KHOU (skip to near the end of the video....also notice the Burger King ): http://www.khou.com/video/news-index.html?nvid=216639

not trying to derail the thread, but i just recently heard about this thing called Scientology and am curious to know how this compares to the Falun Gong in China. sounds quite similar to me. any ideas?
Falun Gong is a meditation type organization that has been banned in China b/c the government fears this rapidly growing group. It is not a religion and neither do they pray to any central being or deity. It is somewhat akin to Tai Chi and they practice what is called "energy cultivation." There are alot of local groups in the US that practice Falun Gong. Even here in Houston, there are meetings 3-4 times a week in the park. These people look like they are doing Tai Chi, but they are most often doing Falun Dafa exercises. Sometimes if you sit and watch these Falun Gong people at the park, you can see other "people" with binoculars watching from afar. Many Falun Gong people believe these are Chinese government minders making sure these Falun Gong people aren't plotting something. The Chinese discrimination of Falun Gong is one of the biggest gripes people cite when they refer to Chinese human rights abuses.
http://ipower.movielol.org/youtube-anon.php (quoting the article, but due to formating, probably better to go to the link) More at the link. Haven't really looked into this, but something seems to be up. I think the video at the link has 208 views, but 424 comments and 1137 ratings. edit: Guess it is just a bug at Youtube: http://youtubestatus.blogspot.com/2008/02/system-alert-video-view-counts-not.html Don't know about digg or anything else though.
