Wow, Tmac at the end is straight up talking like a role player. He refers to Yao as the All Star on the team.

At first, I thought we should have gone to Yao more, but when everyone started hitting their shots, it was fun to watch. I like it when we play balanced basketball and win games by a good margin.

T-Mac still got his shots in tonight. He did much better in the second half when his jumper started falling. I think it's apparent who the leader of this team is now...

WHAT?? Didn't you hear that Tmac is selfish and wants to get all the attention?

It's the truth though, he ain't an All-Star this year! Inside-out basketball has to start from the inside, and I think he's finally realized that. Good to hear! I know he'll be able to turn it up a notch when he needs to.

I thought he was weird saying it was fun to share the ball. It's like he is trying hard to say the right thing. He had a bad game, we won, but ...

I just wish he could be more active out of the gate. Pretty sure RA was referring him in the first half being lethargic.

i noticed that too, and maybe he was being happy and giddy like that was because he did not play so great especially in the first half, and to make himself not look like he did bad, he praised everybody and acted happy as hell to "share the ball". Though a cover up or not, even if he is faking it, cause id rather him fake it than start crying.

    SO KEEP ON SMILIN t-mac!!!

Hilltopper, did your crew catch Yao in the post game interview?

    According to this article,

    http://sports.sohu.com/20080212/n255125786.shtml

Yao went to the weight room after the game and almost an hour later, he was interviewed by a group of reporters and he poked fun at a veteran Fox reporter (it said the reporter was the producer of the Fox Station also). Very funny conversations there.

tmac's interview was a bit odd. I like the joy he has when talkin about our success and sharing the ball but ya ... when he refers to Yao as THE all star and not including his extraordinary talents ... something aint right. i mean ... has he officially passed the torch to yao? tracy's too good to be just a role player that's just my take. but w/e. can't argue with what wins. if we win in the playoffs i wont make any more fuss about it.

Watch him say the words "our all-star". It says everything.

I liked the TMac interview alot. He deferred (and rightly so) to Yao as he knew he hadn't played up to the level of one this year, but you could also tell that inside he's channeling all his frustration into a big ball and just waiting to let it all out when the time is right. This team will be force in April. There won't be any mercy for the unfortunate opponents that stand in our way.

And the great thing about this year is we don't even have to care about who we face. Every team is good yes, but every team also has difficulty standing out from another team. They're all just pins to be knocked over no matter how big they are.

There's nothing wrong with Tmac deferring, but he also has to know when to step up like he did in Minnesota and Milwaukee. We still need him to carry the offensive load once in awhile when nothing is falling on offense.

and has the offense needed him to step up lately? NO

tmac is not an all-star this year. he's saying all the right things. he's doing all the right things. at this stage of his career, tmac should just think about winning. when he wins, all the accolades will come back to him.

What's got me excited over the last two games isn't that T-Mac is deferring to his teammates. He's setting them up. He's getting them easy looks. He's working to make them better. That's the T-Mac we need.
