Another good game from the Rockets and Shandon Anderson. Now that he's been in the flow of our offense, I wonder if this guy can be a star in the league. He's got a good drive, great defense, and a good shot. In my opinion, there is NO way that we can trade Shandon. He should be a lock for us just like Franchise is.

I love Shandon... he's my favorite Rocket. We'll keep him for his play, but we're also going to keep him because if we traded him, free-agents would likely avoid Houston. Anderson came here with an implied contract in a couple of years for a great deal of $. He chose to come here in spite of better offers elsewhere. Trading him would demonstrate an utter lack of loyalty and gratitude.

    Inuit,

I like Anderson too, but to say he has a good shot, might be giving him more credit than he's due. I've watched his shot, specifically his outside shooting. It's a pretty ugly shot. I would say he's an average to slightly above average jump shooter. He puts just about no arch on his shot. It's as flat as Kate Moss' stomach (and chest). But, what he can do is get to the bucket and finish.

I agree with haven, that we need to keep him to set an example for free agents in the future. But, that shouldn't be the only reason. He's played very well for us, and I really like his all-around game. If he's having a bad scoring night, as he is apt to due on occasion, he can pick up the slack in so many other areas.

Anderson's game is pretty complete, if we need him to score , he is there , if we need him on D , he's there , he is a great team player and does the things Rudy asks him to and that is what matters !

I really like Anderson too, but not as much as that stomach on Kate Moss.
