    Saw this short interview/article from sohu.com, in which Yao Ming talked about the recent improvement he saw in the Houston Rockets.

    What do you guys think about his take?

    Man I can't believe Sikma. He looks like he's about to have a baby. LOL So I guess Ex-NBA players don't necessarily try to stay in shape.

    His shot is messed up in every aspect. The ball is supposed to slide off the middle of the hand with the middle finger being the last to have touched the ball.

    Yao needs to show these kids how to shoot. Especially Rafer, i think if he learned how to shoot the ball properly, he'd be alot more consistent with his shot, than he is streaky.

    I don't think Yao Ming meant mental toughness. He was specifically mentioning about 精神的力量, which literally referred to areas such as

    • Better prepared for the competition
    • Play with energy, hustle and intensity
    • Do not take the opponents too lightly and for granted
    • Do not relax even when the Rockets are leading by big margin
    It is a better change in attitude and state of mind.....but not yet about mental toughness.
