Chris Webber Juwan Howard Jalen Rose Jimmy King Ray Jackson Jimmy King did eventually play in the NBA for a little while, but I do not believe Ray Jackson ever made it. He wasn't all that great.
We are well balanced in terms of scoring from each and every position and even into our bench scoring. Weaknesses hardly any in terms of matchups with opposing teams. Welcome to the world of Adleman where anyone who proves himself in practice gets a chance to play.
Welcome to the world of Adelman where Rafer Alston and Chuck Hayes aren't the only viable otions at their respective positions.
BSPN NBA crew giving Yao props? I don't believe it They always hate on Yao and I hate them for it Video or didn't happen
JVG was calling the Celtics/Spurs game today and was talking about Big Baby and how GMs make their names with 2nd round picks, mentioned Carl Landry.
I think he's talking about the overall balance of the team, just like it's says... We have great defense and offense. We can be fast and run, but we can also slow it down to a half-court game like the best of em. We have tons of depth and diversity. We have some good outside shooters, and alot of inside scorers. We may end up being the only team who could match up with the lakers, if they do end up living up to their full potential. Yao, Scola, Landry >>> Bynum, Gasol, Odom. Tracy, Alston >< Kobe, Fisher. Overall Houston is still better.
Having three PFs is going to be huge for this team in the playoffs. We can give all of these dominant PFs in the West so many different looks. Scola is just damn smart and crafty on both sides of the court Hayes is rock solid as a post defender and team defender Landry is a pogo stick with a jumpshot that hustles as much as Scola and Hayes This is going to be a huge luxury when we meet Duncan, Amare, Gasol, Boozer, Dirk or any of the other monsters waiting in the playoffs. We have 18 fouls and 3 completely different players who play like it is the last game of their life.
You are correct. The fab five became the "Furious 4" after 2 years together and the "Terrific 2" a season after that.
optimistic maybe, but not overly. i think i'm the only one who realized that we have a whole new system and we had huge setbacks because of it. the players are getting better and better with each practice they have together and you can tell that they are playing the system more and are looking alot better with each game, and they are still winning. In fact, since 2008, they have the best record in the entire league. overly optimistic? They still have all the right pieces and things are really starting to come together. again, best record since 2008. I'm not saying they're the best team in the league, but they are a serious contender, and they are alot better a team than their record gives shows. The team will only improve to get better and better after the break too.
