The guy's finger was bent backwards according to Worrell and he didnt cry or scream or anything. When they popped it back in, he had a smile on his face like, "Okay cool i didn't know it could do that."

How many of us can have a finger dislocated and then just shrug it off after they pop it back in?

I had my right hand pinky bend around 60-70 percent to the right, i hit my hand on the backboard after blocking some dude, I couldn't pull my hand down quick enough.....was in shock initially, I put it in back in place so quickly without really thinking about it. Didn’t really hurt at all…..I guess I’m a freaking REAL MAN!!!!! LOL.

TMac may not be the most "hardcore" player ever, but he has been showing that:

    1) he wants to play and

    2) he can contribute even when he's less than 100%.

I think he knows that this is the last good year he has in him, so the Rockets are getting in the playoffs and getting out of the first round.

    darnit...

in van gundy's reckoning, different players have different levels of pain tolerance. and i think this is a reasonable explanation.

and why would you think this is "the last good year" in mcgrady? i certainly hope not. guess it depends on how you define "good", eh?

Me and my brother think he looks like Sloth from The Goonies. Everytime he scores we yell "HEYYYYY YOU GUYS!!!" or "BABY RUTH?"

Like any normal basketball player, i have jammed all of my fingers at least once. I did dislocate my pinky once, not exactly sure the exact degree of the bent.Must have been close to 90 degrees...

It was painful but when you look down at it, and you see anything that is extremely abnormal that your body is not supposed to do, it makes you a little woozy and seems to make things hurt a little more.

Kudos to Scola for taking the pain and having a good night.

you shouldnt call him like that ! be patient ! maybe T-MAC will be affected by his tough teammates and changed himself although their abilities and talents are much inferior to him.
