Wow! Stephen A Smith finally gave Yao props!!(NBA Shoot-around)

The worst thing about it is if the Rox do damage in the playoffs, you know Stephen A. Smith is going to say some junk about how they all knew Yao was a great player and he is finally playing up to his potential, ignoring the fact that he has called him junk for about 5 years.

 

I am long past ever caring what stephen a smith has to say about basketball.

Let me get this straight. Dwight, after half a season of 20/10 numbers, has emerged. While, Yao, having put up three consecutive 20/10 seasons, "is emerging?" And we're somehow happy about these comments?

 

Anything said by the media about Yao which is not utterly negative should be considered positive.

 

that's not entirely true...when we first traded for tmac smith projected us to be the 4th seed because of the pairing of yao and tmac. i'd say that that was an indication of what he thought of yao as well as tracy..
