Best video game out right now on the 3 major systems?

    Well here I am sitting in school. My class is canceled and I am getting really bored!

    So with that said, what is the best game out rite now on PS2, Gamecube and XBox?

    On PS2 I am almost done with Metal Gear on Hard. (That damn Solidus is a little too crazy and hard!!!!) Also Ace Combat was awesome!

    On Gamecube I have Star Wars which I still need to play, and it looks bad ass.

    On Xbox I just go Halo and am thinking if I should beat this first or Star Wars on GC.


    Any suggestions for different games? I am a big time fan of FPS and am starting to like plane games.

    I don't have many x-box games, but my favorite right now is Gotham City Racing. I am enjoying Silent Hill 2 right now.

    I currently have for PS2 - GT3 , ShaunPalmer's Pro Snow boarder , Madden 2002 , and NBA Live 2002 , The only one I would give an A rating to is Madden , GT3 will blow you away but the Gameplay just isn't there unless you are a mechanic or a die hard racing fan. NBA Live 2002 is very dissapointing , I admit I only bought because Francis was on the cover, The Camera agles drive me crazy and its either you put the game on rookie and win by 20 or you put it on star and lose by 20 . Shaun Palmer is a ok game , It is very challenging trying to get all the damn sponsers, It differs from Tony Hawk because you have to keep moving downhill and you cant turn around if you miss something .

    I am going to by MGS2 next and hope it kicks ass .

    I have that and I feel the same way about the game. If you play it on an HDTV with A/V component wires the graphics become way way better. But yeah its pretty boring unless you know the technicalites of a car. I cant beat anyone with the hooptie I have and I am too sucky to beat the computer so I can get more money and then a better car. :eek:

    I hate all football and basketball games except stuff like Street or Blitz. Way too many moves and buttons make it complicated and stressful to play.

    MGS2 is one of the top 5 games I have ever played. The only bad thing about it is the extended story line. Sometimes you have to watch a movie for like 30 min before getting to play again for like 15 min. But overall I would still rate the game a 9.8 out of 10.

    Madden 2002 and NHL Hitz 2002 for the Gamecube are really fun to play. I like Hitz more than Madden. Hitz is a 3-3,no rules,3 minute periods. I like checking people through the glass. :)

    PS2 -

    Grand theft Auto 3 , I enjoy it more every time I play it.
    Ace Combat 4 , Cool game & graphics but game is too short
    Gran Turismo 3- top game for the speed freaks

    I really like Ncaa football on playstation2. . . I especially enjoy the recruiting aspect of the game, When I first saw Ncaa basketball by EA sports I was pumped thinking it would have many of the same features, like importing a draft class and recruting. WRONG WRONG WRONG you cant even play a season on that game. . . . how lame is that, NO recruiting and most of all Its Nba Live 2002 with a bunch of guys in college uni's. Dont be a suka and buy this game. I was seriously disapointed

    I still haven't played it yet (just observed others playing it), but I can tell you right now that Metal Gear Solid 2 is the best video console game I have ever seen.

    You wont here any argument from me. I beat it on normal and just have the last guy to go on hard. I dont even know if I will try it on extreme! :eek:

    It's all about Shenmue 2 on the Dreamcast.


    I have so many DC games that I haven't even opened that I've resolved not to buy another system until Shenmue 3 comes out, and then I'll buy the system that plays it (which unfortunately will most likely be an X-box).
