I dont mean regular food like steak or something that tasted nasty. I mean something like ants or roaches like they do in China. Or dog like they do in Korea. Maybe alligator like in Africa or something like that?
Alligator rocks. I'd have to say mine was at a little Mexican joint here in Austin. I saw that they had a lovely entree called brain on the menu. I ordered a beef burrito, but it felt like I was eating brain.
A friend of mine once ate an entire bowl of cereal only to go for seconds and find out the box was infested with weavals!
I bought something off a street vendor in Tokyo, and to this day I have no idea what I put in my mouth. When I bit down, it tasted like somebody poured a cup of salt and fish oil into my mouth. Disgusting! Later during the same trip in Xian, China, I was served a murky broth with giant slugs floating on top. In Shangai, we were served a mystery meat, that we later found out was cat. The cat actually tasted like Spam, and not anything like chicken.
Uni I've also swallowed the occasional live minnow, but that was in college, so I was pretty drunk.....didn't taste a thing.
Well the nastiest thing I have had is goat brain! Its really really reallly good! As a matter of fact I think I might have some tonite!
In Columbia, I was once served a breaded and fried stomach, but it tasted like fried colon. I didn't finish it.

lingua or cow tongue A friend and I were eating at a mexican kitchen and he ordered a bunch of food which sounded good. I didn't listen all too carefully and thought he ordered a bunch of tacos and the like. I was hungover. I just said...."give me what he's getting...sounds good". After I ate it, he asked me if I knew I ate cow tongue in those tacos. It doesn't sound good at all...which made my statement pretty funny. But, it tasted as good if not better than a beef taco.
I was watching Ripleys Believe It or Not and they showed people in China eating Live Scorpion Fried Rice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a mountain of fried rice with small baby scorpions running all around it! In Denver people eat Buffalo Testacles!!!!!!! In Indian people eat cow and goat brain!!!!! (but that taste good!)
Alligators in Africa? wow. Anyway, dude, you can go to Louisiana and eat alligator. Hell, go to Sam's Boat on Richmond and get some... lol. And Alligator tastes ok... not nasty at all.
you get it in Louisiana? My friends from Africa tell me it is sweet and not nasty tasting at all. But I still wouldnt try it. Also this place in Dallas served snakes which is pretty nasty! Also I would never ever eat an ostrich or a duck. They are way too cute to eat.
