Barkley - "I have no idea what the Rockets are doing. They need to make a trade. They got 3 million dollars under the cap, cause they screwed me out of my last year. *Laughs* They did Ernie! I could really use that 3 million dollars after I betted on the damn Patriots."

One more reason why he hates us.

One more reason he hates us? Or one more reason to love him?

what he doesn't know is it's been yao's team since last yr. tmac is simply our main playmaker last yr. he needs to watch some more before talking.

Did any of you guys hear Fratello ripping on Bonzi in the first half? I tried to rewind it but accidentally changed the channel instead and lost it. Reggie Miller tried to laugh it off and kind of stick up for Bonzi, but Fratello made a few more remarks and even said, "I hope he is listening"

Charles re-signed for cheap so they could sign Pippen. Les promised him 11 mil the next year. When the time came, Les only gave him 8. It's the primary source of his resentment of the team. He's now mentioned it at least twice on the air. Pretty chicken**** of Les if you ask me.

During Warriors game the announcers said:

"Duhon getting a blow on the bench"
"That comes by playing with each other A LOT"

**** like that is bad karma. The Rocket haven't won playoff series because of the curse of the fat man.

Les needs to pay him off to get rid of bad voodoo.

Les won't spend a penny more on the current roster much less pay off some old debt. All of the competition is adding players to make a run in the playoffs and Les can only think about making a deal to get under the luxury tax. Cheap b*stard. We are screwed because our owner was stupid enough to hold onto some staocks everyone told hime he needed to sell.

you have to give him credit where credit is due...if it weren't for his willingness to shell out money, we wouldn't have scola or possibly even landry right now. he paid 1 million to move up for landry and i dont even remember how many millions he paid the spurs for scola..

More cowardly of Chuck to use his public voice to gripe about it rather than see to it in person that the deal was kept, if it was even offered.

It is not manly to go all national with something like that... it shows why he never was a champion. He has a sour grape attitude.

    Champions don't get that way.

There is no "fat man" curse. Only some bitter, grudge-holding, has-been on a high numbered cable network yelling for no reason after he lost on a fool's game of gambling.

Invest your money, Chuck. Don't gamble it away.

Les invested in YOU... you turned out to be the gamble.

We might have missed some really good players by paying you and Quitten all that money... oh, wait... we did.

Looking back, we sure should have kept Horry and Cassell.

    I want 1996 back... But I'm a realist. That ain't gonna happen.

He didn't really gripe. He made light of the situation. Did Barkley complain when Les shafted him at the time? No.

Plenty of champions are sour grapes.

Don't tell Chuck what to do with his money. Thats sour grapes.

Cassell and Horry? Sweet role players. You telling me a Cassell/Horry duo was better than say Stockton/Malone or Payton/Kemp neither of which could overcome the Bulls?

You blame Barkley? He played his ass off on the floor, in shape or not. Against the Bulls one season Olajuwon and Drexler were out, maybe Willis too. Barkley refused to give up no matter the obvious fate of that game. It was beautiful to watch. Unlike Olajuwon (ya I said it) whose inspiration clearly faded as his speed and health did.

    Barkley for president

    Whatever,
Charles sacrificed his salary for the better of the team, no one in Rockets history has done that.

    Charles forever!

Barkely: "When you are older, your mind still works HARD, but your legs don't. That's why you need Viagra".

Ernie: "I don't know what you are talking about, Charles".

Kenny: "Charles is speaking of his personal experiece".
