Personally, I wish the Rockets second best scorer would have signed with some other team. That way we could be worse than we already are! And just maybe, in the process it would have given Francis less reason to stick around!!!

Anyone who votes "yes" must be a Raptors fan.

"They stopped us at the end," Mobley said. "We played into their way, grabbing and holding and getting crazy. We did that. We have to ad-lib more as a team. When they adjust, we have to adjust."

Ad-libbing seems to be the problem, Cuttino.

Hey he's injured. When he's healthy he can back up what he spews. Moreso when Mo is back. I'm happy he's here.

Well, the guy can score points--- but not very effeciently. He makes bad decisions and takes bad shots. Defense is still in the dictionary. He made a great leap of improvement between his first and second years and has certainly flattened out it would seem.

I say let somebody else have him who thinks they can change him.

have you guys forgotten the bargain price we signed Mobley at? For that kind of money, you'll have trouble finding a decent back-up shooting guard.

I will have to agree with Rich Rocket here. We are stuck with a starting shooting guard that hurts as much as he helps. I wish we would have kept Mike Dickerson, and shipped Cat to Vancouver.

Are we really blaming the Philadelphia game on Mobley now? He did all he could to keep us in it.

Everygame its one player or the other. It's more obvious to me that something is wrong with the system, givin that we lose the majority of close games that we're in in exactly the same way (by dribbling out the end of the clock).

PLEASE!!! Cat is one of the best SG scorers out there! He is leading the team in 3pt% he ranks 4th in mpg. Cat is also willing to do whatever it takes to do whats best for the team. Trade Eddie Griffin? Wish we had have lost Cuttino? what's next... Cut Steve because he gets too many migraines? Give me a break.

 Don't understand what you had to say there dude....

No offense, but this has to be one of the dumbest polls. Wishing that our second best player would have signed with an other team is just stupid no matter how you look at it.

And I also cant believe some people are blaming this loss on Cuttino. Yeah he had that crucial turnover, but the dude also scored 25 pts on 16 shots!

Francis is not exaclty God that he deserves no criticism whatsoever. We lost cause he had a bad game.

Cuttino makes the players around him worse, not better. He is the kind of player that can get your team into the playoffs, and out in the first round.

I would trade Cuttino for a good big man right now, and start Oscar in his place. Or, perhaps this trade would be satisfactory-

Houston trades: Cuttino Mobley $4,413,375 to Seattle
    TOTAL: $4,413,375

Seattle trades: Rashard Lewis $4,413,375 to Houston
    TOTAL: $4,413,375

    TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Houston and Seattle being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Houston and Seattle had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You have been assigned Trade ID number 460984

according to this, MObley is making Eddie better so I really don't buy into him making players around him worse..Mobley creates his own scoring opportunities that is why his % is low..He is also a great rebounder for a 2 guard and is the glue that keeps this team together in terms of chemisty..without mobley on this roster, Francis is out the door next year and eddie follows soon after...

If we have to blame someone for the loss to Philly, blame Steve. Cat did just fine to keep us in the game.

I'm not a Cat lover, but like Rockets03 said this poll is really a dumb one.

Hello did you watch the game!? Mobley was one of the main reasons we were even in the game. Francis had a horrible game. It happens. But I wish he would have signed with Toronto. That way when would have sucked because Francis didn't have any help, and Mobley would have had some success in Toronto like we're having, the same people who want him gone would be calling him a traitor and ripping Rockets management for letting a 20 ppg scorer go when we could have used him. I mean Griffin, and Francis love the guy, so saying he makes the team worse is just something thought by people that want Cuttino gone. And you're not going to trade him for a big man. But hey, to bad Mobley didn't sign with Toronto. He barely makes anything so letting him go wouldn't have freed up capspace. So then our starting backcourt would have been Francis and Shandon. What fun that would be!

He's a good player and the Rockets were good to keep him, but he's no superstar. The numbers and play bear out that he's a Ron Mercer clone, only with a 3pt shot.

I would trade Cat, but only after we sign Steve to a long term deal. Far too risky to do so now.
