I think we're 9th and GS is 8th b/c of their better conference record (i think we're tied in head to head but maybe not)

    YES!!!!

    - cold shooting night for the Warriors in 1st half, missed open shots, missed layups.
    - career night for Chris Duhon.
    - Joe Smith in a zone.
    - Tyrus Thomas comes up big at final minutes.
    - The Bulls deserve to even their series with the Warriors 1-1. The Bulls lost their homecourt game to the Warriors mainly because of dismal FT shootings.

    - Next game the Rockets play the Warriors will be BIG. The Rockets need to win to tie the series at 2-2.

well i was actually rooting for my home team for once, and they pulled through...but what happens if 2 teams are tied for 8th and the end of the season and are also tied in the season series?

    TWO-WAY TIES

    1. Results of games against each other.
    2. Better winning percentage within own division (only if tied teams are in same division).
    3. Better winning percentage against teams in own conference.
    4. Better winning percentage against playoff opponents in own conference (including teams that finished the regular season tied for a playoff position).
    5. Better winning percentage against playoff opponents in opposite conference (including teams that finished the regular season tied for a playoff position).
    6. Better point differential between offense and defense.

if rockets held the equalizer now they'd still lose out on the tiebreak on their western conference record.

Looks like the disease of Webber bringing losses wherever he goes is alive and well.

I didn't see the game but I can hardly believe Joe Smith scoring 27 points.
    Good win for Chicago.

The Bulls' quickness and length really bothered the W's tonight. Thomas, Noah, Smith and Wallace killed them all night.

You wanna beat the W's you must bang them with big guys

Can you also believe Chris Duhon also had 34 points and 9 assists?

Not that they play intelligently very often, but the Warriors played one of the stupidest games I've ever seen. Monta Ellis torched the Bulls (he was 11/12), meanwhile BD kept throwing up 3 pointers like he was insane (2/10 from long rane, 8/24 overall) and Jackson was 2/8 and 6/19 overall. Idiotic. Those two go 14/43 while the rest of the team is 27/52.

You can't judge it by one game, but I don't think Webber fits in well. Maybe things will improve when he gets his legs and has time to adapt.

Great game by the Bulls last night. Anytime an Eastern team beats a West team, that's reason for the Rockets to celebrate. It's insane that we're in a virtual tie for 8th, and a game from being 10th, yet I'm still scoreboard watching for the team in FIRST. Just shows how truly competitive the West actually is.

I was talking to a Cleveland fan, and I was like "y'all would get destroyed in the West....." and he was like "check our West standings....we have a better record than we do against the East." I told him that it's one thing to play teams like SA, Dal, and PHX twice a year....quite another to have them in your division, play them 4 times a year, and be directly affected by their spot in the standings. He was a jackhole though, and claimed that the Cavs would still finish top 4 in the West. Idiot.
