Sorry if it has already been posted. Thought it was worthy of its own thread. Clinton Challenges Obama To Debate In Houston
I doubt this is going to happen - there's already one the day before that both candidates have agreed to. Apparently Clinton is proposing and accepting debates left and right for a couple of reasons: 1. She has no money and it's free air-time 2. It gets Obama off the campaign trail 3. She tends to be stronger in debates than Obama He probably can't ignore all of them, but apparently she's accepted something like 4 or 5 offers, and wants a debate every week. I doubt anything like that's going to happen.
Obama is too much of a puss to debate her in Houston. His space policy will eat him alive and he knows it. Duck and run, **** face.
Thank you. Bush/Rove/Limbaugh etc. have been deliberately calling my party the "Democrat Party" for years. I remember when Republicans were too civil to do that. Maybe we should call the GOP "the Repubs." Impeach Bush.
democrat (n.) - An advocate of democracy. (Methinks the gentleman doth protest to much.) Wiki: The earliest known use of the term, according to the Oxford English Dictionary, was by a London stock-market analyst, who wrote in 1890, "Whether a little farmer from South Carolina named Tillman is going to rule the Democrat Party in America - yet it is this, and not output, on which the proximate value of silver depends." Deckard. Proudly screaming against the evils of Republican leadership since Benjamin Harrison.
Looks like it's going to happen. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/5523614.html Feb. 7, 2008, 7:15PM Obama agrees to debate Clinton in Texas By MONICA RHOR Associated Press HOUSTON — Barack Obama agreed Thursday to debate Hillary Rodham Clinton in Texas before the state's March 4 primary that has become newly key with both presidential candidates trying to pull ahead in the race for the Democratic nomination. No date or place for the Texas debate has been set. Obama's campaign made the announcement Thursday evening hours after Clinton supporters in Texas criticized Obama for not agreeing to a Feb. 28 debate in Houston. The stakes in the delegate-rich March 4 Texas primary rose significantly after a close battle on Super Tuesday failed to produce a Democratic front-runner.
Dems are always big on Nasa and space. Especially one endorsed by the Kennedy family. Spoiler GO ROCKETS
Obama dissed Houston and agreed to debate Hillary in Austin. I will be voting for anyone but Obama. GMA: Will you vote for Hillary if she is the Democratic nominee? Michelle Obama: I would have to think about it. Think about what? If Bill had said the samething, he would get fried. I agree Mrs. Obama, Go McCain!
I heard this on some talk radio few days back and I was suprised at no mention of this in media.. If this was Bill Clinton's answer, there would have been a huge backlash. Infact the same question was asked few days back and Clinton's answer was... "absolutely"( From some radio show)
